PinMe
A CLI that publishes a built frontend to IPFS in one command and deploys small full-stack projects; ships agent skills
High risk
We rate an entry high when the tool writes to external systems, handles money, production databases or secrets, or runs arbitrary commands. The CLI installs it only with your consent.
Why this level
- Deploys and can delete server-side resources: the Worker, domain binding and D1 database
- Publishes files to IPFS, where content becomes public and effectively permanent
- Requires account credentials or an app key
Install
In your terminal, with SkillFoxx CLI
npx skillfoxx add cli/pinmeDetects the agents on your machine, checks the risk and pins the version.
Other ways to install
Install the tool
npm install -g pinmeInstall the skill: npx skills add glitternetwork/pinme. Make sure the CLI is installed: npm install -g pinme, then pinme login and pinme upload dist.
Other ways from the author
npm install -g pinmeRequires Node.js 16.13 or newer. After install sign in with pinme login and publish a folder with pinme upload dist.

What it does
PinMe is a command-line tool for quickly publishing web projects. The pinme upload command takes a built folder and pushes it to IPFS, returning a URL. For full-stack work there is a project flow: pinme create scaffolds a project from the official template of a React and Vite frontend, a Cloudflare Worker and a D1 database, while pinme save and the update-worker, update-db and update-web commands ship individual layers. All commands require signing in with pinme login or a pinme set-appkey key. The repository includes seven SKILL.md skills so an agent such as Claude Code or Codex can run the build and deploy itself. Node.js 16.13 or newer is required.
Who it is for. For frontend developers and agents who need to quickly publish a built site or a small full-stack app.
Good fit when
- You need to publish a built dist, build, out or public folder and get a URL
- You need to quickly deploy a small full-stack project from the template
- You want the agent to build the project and deploy it on its own
Not a fit when
- You need a specific host, hosting region or a backend outside the PinMe template
- You have no account and cannot sign in with login or an app key
Example request
Deploy my built dist folder with pinme and return the full URLLimitations
A PinMe account is required: pinme login or pinme set-appkey is needed before upload. Files are published to IPFS, so they become public, are content-addressed and effectively stay available. Full-stack works only through the official template of React, Vite, a Cloudflare Worker and a D1 database with platform-side provisioning. Domain binding needs a wallet balance. Availability of the service from Russia without a VPN has not been verified, so worksWithoutVpn is marked unknown.
How to disable. Remove the package: npm uninstall -g pinme, and delete the PinMe skill folders from your agent's skills directory. Account-side resources are removed with the tool's own delete and logout commands.
Security check
- Deploys and can delete server-side resources: the Worker, domain binding and D1 database
- Publishes files to IPFS, where content becomes public and effectively permanent
- Requires account credentials or an app key
README in short
The README presents PinMe as a zero-config deployment tool aimed at one-command publishing. The upload command pushes static output to IPFS, while the project flow of create, save and update commands deploys the frontend, Worker and database. A dedicated section for agents describes the protocol: check Node, install the CLI, sign in, choose the right command and return the final URL. It sets guardrails, for example not uploading src, node_modules, .git and .env. The repository ships SKILL.md skills for agents. MIT licensed.
FAQ
Do I need an account?
Yes. Before uploading you sign in with pinme login or set a key with pinme set-appkey.
Where does the site get published?
Static output goes to IPFS and is served on a PinMe subdomain or a bound domain. Full-stack deploys through the template on a Cloudflare Worker and a D1 database.
