About SkillFoxx

SkillFoxx is a Russian-language catalog of skills, MCP servers, plugins, CLI tools, workflows and prompts for AI agents. It comes with an installer, an MCP server and an open catalog API, and Foxx AI picks tools from it for your task or project.

What the catalog holds

The editors describe every entry from the repository files: what the tool does, who needs it, when it does not fit, how to install it in Claude Code, Cursor, Codex and other agents, its limitations and access level. Stars, license and last commit date come from GitHub.

The Russian stack section covers services people use in Russia: Yandex, 1C, Bitrix24, GigaChat, marketplaces and banks. Many of them work without a VPN.

Installer, MCP and catalog API

  • The npx skillfoxx installer puts an entry into the agents on your machine, checks the recipe signature and access level, and keeps a lock file. The skillfoxx package is on npm under the MIT license.
  • The MCP server at skillfoxx.ru/api/mcp gives an agent catalog search, entry cards, an install plan for that agent and project matching.
  • The catalog API needs no key. The catalog.json export with every entry is available under CC BY 4.0.
  • Install recipes say what gets installed, from which commit and with which variables. We sign each recipe with the SkillFoxx key and recheck it against the repository about once a week.
  • The install counter counts distinct devices in 30 days from anonymous CLI and MCP events. A card shows the number from 10 installs.

Foxx AI

Foxx AI runs on OpenAI models and answers only from catalog entries. The privacy policy lists what data leaves the site when you use it.

  • Match with Foxx AI: you describe a task or paste a package.json, and Foxx AI suggests catalog entries and explains the choice.
  • On every entry page Foxx AI answers questions about the tool from the card data: how to install it, how to set it up, whether it is safe.
  • An agent can get matches itself through the recommend_for_project MCP tool.
  • Search adds results by meaning when few entries match the words.

Principles

  • A place in the catalog is not for sale. There are no ads and no affiliate links.
  • The database counts every number on the site. We never type them by hand.
  • We do not copy descriptions from other catalogs and send readers to the original source.
  • GitHub stars describe the whole repository and are labeled as repository stars.
