What it does

The set connects the agent to five Oxylabs products through instructions and environment variables holding credentials. The proxies skill provides residential, mobile, datacenter and ISP proxies with geo-targeting, IP rotation and session persistence. Web Scraper API returns structured JSON for dozens of targets, and Headless Browser opens a remote browser over CDP for Playwright and Puppeteer. The video-data skill fetches video metadata, subtitles and search results and downloads files through a separate proxy. Two skills, Web Unblocker and Web Scraper API, by the author's description automatically bypass anti-bot protection including CAPTCHA and browser fingerprinting, so they are appropriate only where the user has the right to collect the data and it does not break the target's terms or the law.

Who it is for. For developers and data analysts who collect web data and already use Oxylabs paid services.

Good fit when

  • You need pages or search results parsed into structured JSON via Web Scraper API
  • You need proxies with geo-targeting, IP rotation and session persistence

  • You have no right to collect data from the target site or it breaks its terms and the law
  • You have no paid Oxylabs account and product credentials
  • A site's public API is enough without proxies and unblocking

Limitations

All skills require a paid Oxylabs account and credentials in environment variables, with separate username and password pairs for different products. Some capabilities rely on automatic anti-bot bypass and CAPTCHA solving, and responsibility for legality and compliance with target terms rests with the user. The skills reach the network through the vendor's services and pass requests and target URLs to them. Availability from Russia without a VPN was not verified and depends on the network and account.

How to disable. Remove the plugin via /plugin if installed that way, or delete the skill folders from the agent's directory. Remove the Oxylabs credential variables from the environment.
