What it does
AionUi is a GUI app where an agent works on your computer alongside you: it reads and writes files, searches the web, generates images and calls MCP tools. The agent engine is built in, so no separate CLI is required, only an API key from any provider. It ships about twenty assistants, for example for slides, Word documents, Excel sheets and academic papers. Office files are produced through OfficeCLI and the pptx, docx and xlsx skills.
Who it is for. For people who prefer working with an agent in an app window rather than a terminal.

You need your own model API key; availability depends on the chosen provider. Built-in assistants and skills are maintained in the separate AionCore repository. Runs on macOS 10.15+, Windows 10+ and Linux.
How to disable. Uninstall the app with your OS tools, or with brew uninstall aionui if installed via Homebrew.
