What it does
Dev-Suite detects the project stack from its manifests and writes matching components for it: specialized agents, skills with a knowledge base, MCP servers and path-scoped rules. One install configures several assistants at once, from Claude Code to Copilot, Cursor, Gemini CLI, Codex and Cline, each in its own format. The written files are committable: no machine paths, no secret literals, with a backup before any overwrite. If you only want the skills, a separate command installs them without cloning. It ships a setup wizard plus a web dashboard and a desktop app.

The full toolkit needs Node and Git, and part of it is built locally. Assistant capabilities differ, and the configurator states plainly what is unsupported where, for example Cursor has no equivalent to rule templates. The orchestrator and dashboard chat run on Claude only through the Agent SDK.
How to disable. Run the uninstall command from the repository or the uninstall script, since the written components are tracked in a manifest and removed from it.
