Broad access
Why this level
- The agent performs actions on connected accounts: sending email, messages, Stripe and CRM operations.
- Requests and data pass through the third-party One cloud proxy.
Install
- Works in
In your terminal, with SkillFoxx CLI
npx skillfoxx add cli/one-cliDetects the agents on your machine, shows the access level and pins the version.

What it does
One CLI gives an agent access to third-party service APIs through a single interface. The user connects a platform once with `one add`, then the agent finds the right action (`one actions find`), reads its docs and runs the call (`one actions execute`) with a connection key. `one init` installs the One skill and an MCP server into the chosen agents: Claude Code, Claude Desktop, Cursor, Windsurf, Codex and Kiro. Several calls can be chained into a repeatable workflow: a `.one/flows/<key>/flow.json` file describes steps, conditions, loops and sub-flows. Every request goes through the One proxy, which injects credentials.
Who it is for. Developers and operators who want an agent to work with Gmail, Slack, Stripe, HubSpot or Notion without hand-built integrations.
Good fit when
- An agent sends a Gmail message or posts to Slack on a user's request.
- A workflow looks up a customer in Stripe and sends a welcome email.
- A project needs its own keys and connections, separate from other folders.
- An agent has to find the right platform API method and read its docs.
Not a fit when
- Requests to services cannot pass through a third-party intermediary.
- You need one integration where that service's own MCP server is enough.
- An agent would act on accounts without your control over allowed actions.
Example request
Connect Gmail, find the action for sending an email, show its docs and run the call after I confirm.Limitations
It runs through the One cloud: an app.withone.ai account and an API key are required, and platform calls pass through their proxy. Node.js 22.23.4, 24.22.1, 26.12.1 or newer is needed; older versions make the CLI refuse to start because of compromised certificates. The repository has no explicit license. Each call runs as your connection, so restrict the key's access with `one config`. A third-party service sees request data, so account for that with private material.
How to disable. Run `one logout`, revoke the key under API keys at app.withone.ai and remove the MCP entry from the agent configuration. Delete the `.one/` folder and the `~/.one` directory manually.
FAQ
How do I connect a platform?
Run `one add <platform>`, for example `one add gmail`. A browser opens for authorization and the CLI waits until the connection is live. `one platforms` lists the names.
Where is configuration stored?
Globally in `~/.one/config.json` or per project in `~/.one/projects/<slug>/config.json`. The project variant lives outside the repository, so secrets stay out of git.
How do I build a workflow?
Use `one flow create` with a JSON definition, check it with `one flow validate` and run `one flow execute`. Format reference: `one guide flows`.
Can key access be limited?
Yes. `one list` shows what the key may do on each connection: full access, read-only or a list of actions. Local `one config` settings can only narrow the server's answer.
How do I scope a connection to one project?
Run `one init` in the project folder and pick the project scope. The key and connections are saved under `~/.one/projects/<slug>/` and stay out of git.

README in short
The CLI links an agent to platforms through one API: action search, docs and call execution. Connections are created through OAuth in a browser, workflows live in the project folder.
