What it does
The server gives the agent direct access to developer.apple.com without manual browser searches. It searches frameworks, walks the API hierarchy for iOS, macOS, watchOS, tvOS and visionOS, and returns Swift and Objective-C samples, technology overviews and platform compatibility. A separate WWDC library covers session transcripts and code, plus discovery of related and similar APIs. Data comes from Apple's public JSON interface, so no key or account is needed. It installs via npx as an ordinary stdio MCP server.
Who it is for. For developers on Apple platforms who want documentation and code samples inside the agent.

The server depends on the structure of Apple's public docs, so changes on Apple's side can break some responses. Material is mostly in English. Some data is cached, so recent documentation edits may not appear immediately.
How to disable. Remove the server from your MCP client config, or run claude mcp remove apple-docs in Claude Code.
