What it does
The jaw9c list gathers remote MCP servers: the ones a client connects to over the network with no local install. The author picks official and maintained servers. The README explains what MCP is and gives a connection example with `claude mcp add --transport http <name> <address>`. For people who need connections to ChatGPT and Claude without development, the author links to a separate list. MIT license.
Who it is for. For developers and agent users who look for remote MCP servers for Claude Code, Cursor and other clients.
Good fit when
- You need to find a remote MCP server with no local install
- You need a curated list of official servers
- You need an HTTP connection example
Not a fit when
- You need the server itself: here are only links
- You need a security check of servers: the list does not do it
Example request
Find an official remote server for working with tasks in the list and connect it with claude mcp addMCP
Limitations
This is a list of links: entries, their content and freshness are up to the list authors. Connecting to a remote server passes it the data of your requests, so study the server's owner and access rights before connecting. Check each server from the list separately. Access is minimal.
How to disable. There is nothing to install or remove here: it is a list. A remote server connected from it is removed in the MCP client settings, for example with claude mcp remove.
