What it does
CloudBridge is a Russian service that transfers and syncs files between cloud storages. Nineteen platforms are listed: Yandex Disk, Google Drive, VK Cloud, Dropbox, OneDrive, Telegram channels, MEGA, pCloud, TeraBox, S3-compatible storage, WebDAV such as Nextcloud, ownCloud and Koofr, FTP and FTPS, Google Photos and Kinescope. The repository describes a hosted MCP server at https://cloud-bridge.ru/api/mcp. The transport is Streamable HTTP with JSON-RPC over POST. Read tools: `list_clouds`, `list_files`, `list_transfers`, `get_transfer`, `get_usage`, `list_share_links`, `get_download_url` and `read_text_file`. There are five mutating tools: `create_transfer`, `remote_upload`, `create_share_link`, `cancel_transfer` and `revoke_share_link`. They are capped at 30 calls per hour. The `initialize`, `ping` and `tools/list` methods answer without a key, while `tools/call` requires an `X-API-Key` header like `cb_live_...`. Create the key in the CloudBridge dashboard under API.
Who it is for. People who move archives and media between Yandex Disk, VK Cloud and foreign clouds and want to hand the route to an agent instead of uploading by hand.
Good fit when
- A photo archive must move from Google Drive to Yandex Disk and you want to follow the transfer
- You need a public link to a file in the cloud and want to revoke it later
- You want to know how much quota is used and which transfers are running
- The agent should read a text file from the cloud and show its content without downloading it to disk
- A file at a URL must be uploaded to the cloud through `remote_upload` without downloading it to your machine
Not a fit when
- You have no paid API access at CloudBridge: the key is issued with the API add-on
- You want to work with a local folder on your computer: the server sees only connected clouds
- Files must not pass through a third-party service: the transfer runs on CloudBridge infrastructure
- You need bulk operations more often than 30 per hour: mutating calls have a cap
Example request
Show which clouds are connected, start moving the folder "Photos 2025" from Google Drive to Yandex Disk and then check progress.MCP

Limitations
An API key created in the CloudBridge dashboard is required. According to the README it needs the API-access add-on. Without a key only `initialize`, `ping` and `tools/list` answer and tool calls are closed.
The server is hosted, so it depends on the availability of cloud-bridge.ru. The repository holds only a description and `server.json` with no server source code, so behavior should be checked against the docs at https://cloud-bridge.ru/mcp.
Mutating calls are capped at 30 per hour. The repository author is not named in the text. The link to the service owner is confirmed only by README links and the MCP registry entry.
How to disable. Remove the `cloudbridge` server from the client configuration and revoke the key in the CloudBridge dashboard under API.
FAQ
How do I connect CloudBridge to an agent?
Add a server with the URL `https://cloud-bridge.ru/api/mcp` and an `X-API-Key` header with a value like `cb_live_...` to the MCP configuration. Create the key in the CloudBridge dashboard under API.
Which clouds does CloudBridge support?
Nineteen: Yandex Disk, Google Drive, VK Cloud, Dropbox, OneDrive, Telegram channels, MEGA, pCloud, TeraBox, S3-compatible, WebDAV, FTP and FTPS, Google Photos and Kinescope. `list_clouds` shows the exact list for your account.
Which tools are read-only?
`list_clouds`, `list_files`, `list_transfers`, `get_transfer`, `get_usage`, `list_share_links`, `get_download_url` and `read_text_file`. The data-changing ones are `create_transfer`, `remote_upload`, `create_share_link`, `cancel_transfer` and `revoke_share_link`.
Do I need a key just to list the tools?
No. `initialize`, `ping` and `tools/list` answer without a key, so a client sees the tools at once. A `tools/call` without a key returns a refusal.
Are there write limits?
Yes, mutating tools are capped at 30 calls per hour. The README names no such cap for reads.
