What it does
Coolify MCP manages your Coolify v4 server from an agent: 46 tools for apps, servers, databases and deployments. Connect with `claude mcp add coolify -e COOLIFY_ACCESS_TOKEN=... -e COOLIFY_BASE_URL=... -- npx @masonator/coolify-mcp@latest`. For Claude Desktop there is a single `coolify-mcp.mcpb` file, and the `doctor` command helps check settings. Per the README dangerous operations require human confirmation. Version 3.9.0 from 02.10.2026, MIT license. This is the author's personal project and not an official Coolify server.
Who it is for. For people who host their apps on Coolify and want to deploy, restart and check them through an agent.
Good fit when
- You need deploying and restarting Coolify apps from an agent
- You need an overview of servers and databases on Coolify
- You need a settings check with the doctor command
Not a fit when
- You cannot let an agent manage a production server
- You need an official vendor server
Example request
Show the status of all apps on the server and restart the test app after my confirmationMCP
- Transport
- stdio
- Authentication
- API key
Environment variables
COOLIFY_ACCESS_TOKENrequired, secret- Environment variable COOLIFY_ACCESS_TOKEN, the value is set in the client or a .env file
COOLIFY_BASE_URLrequired- Environment variable COOLIFY_BASE_URL, the value is set in the client or a .env file
Limitations
The agent gets a Coolify token and can deploy, stop and change resources on your server, so access is wide. Dangerous operations require human confirmation, but check each one. Issue a token with minimal rights and start with a test project. The server is not from the Coolify team.
How to disable. Remove the server entry from the client and revoke the token in the Coolify panel.
