What it does

The TypeScript server, built with the MCP SDK and Zod, gives an agent issues, queues, comments, status transitions, users, boards with sprints and columns, bulk operations and Tracker metadata. Issues can be created, searched, updated, counted and transitioned. Boards support full CRUD including columns and sprints, and bulk operations update, move or change the status of a group of issues in one call. Separate tools cover checklists, attachments, issue links and worklogs. Auth uses an OAuth or IAM token with an organization ID.

Who it is for. For dev teams who need board and sprint management from an agent, not just reading issues.

Good fit when

  • You need to create or restructure a board with sprints and columns through an agent
  • You need bulk operations: transition or move a batch of issues at once
  • You need checklists, issue links and worklogs in one server alongside boards

Not a fit when

  • You only need issues without board and sprint work: a simpler server will do
  • You have no OAuth or IAM token with access to the right Tracker organization

Create a two-week sprint on the dev board and move all open issues from the BACKEND queue into it

Limitations

Requires an OAuth or IAM token and a regular or cloud organization ID. Runs via ts-node/tsx with no binary build. MIT licensed, but a single-author project with no documented active maintenance.

How to disable. Remove the yandex-tracker block from your Claude Desktop or Claude Code config.
