Access and checks
How we reviewBroad accessThe tool can change data, run commands or handle secrets.

What it does
Droidline connects a computer to an Android phone through a companion app. Agents inspect screen-element trees, find text or identifiers, tap, type and capture screenshots. The same actions are available through CLI, HTTP and language clients. Initial pairing uses a QR code on the same network, without ADB, cable or root. MCP tools can be limited to a list or read-only mode so testing starts with observation rather than device actions.
Who it is for. For developers and testers automating owned Android applications on a real device.
Good fit when
- Test an interface on a real phone.
- Run a flow across approved applications.
- Let an agent inspect the screen read-only first.
- Try the included simulator without a phone.
Not a fit when
- The device or accounts lack owner authorization.
- You need to bypass the lock-screen PIN or password.
- Accessibility and keyboard permissions cannot be granted.
Example request
Connect a test phone in read-only mode and show our app’s element tree without tapping.MCP

- stdio
- Authentication
- not required
Limitations
Android 9 or later, the installed phone app and a Windows, macOS or Linux server are required. Accessibility and keyboard permissions allow actions in signed-in accounts; use a test phone and a narrow tool list. It cannot unlock PIN, password or pattern lock screens. Some games and custom interfaces expose no element tree, so coordinate-based flows need testing on the actual screen size and app version.
How to disable. Disconnect MCP, stop the server and revoke phone accessibility and keyboard permissions. Inspect saved screenshots and test data.
