Bitrix24 REST client for MCP developers
intelbit-bitrix24-client
An async Python library for the Bitrix24 REST API: batch calls, pagination and rate limiting, a shared base for building your own MCP servers
Medium risk
We rate an entry medium when the tool runs code, makes network calls or reads project files. Check what exactly it does before installing.
Why this level
- Enables arbitrary Bitrix24 REST API calls, including write methods, if the calling code invokes them
- Call rights equal whatever the inbound webhook passed to the client constructor was granted
Install
In your terminal, with SkillFoxx CLI
npx skillfoxx add mcp/intelbit-bitrix24-clientDetects the agents on your machine, checks the risk and pins the version.
Other ways to install
Assembled automatically, review before installing.
Run in a terminal
claude mcp add --transport http intelbit-bitrix24-client 'https://<PORTAL value>/rest/<USER_ID value>/<your TOKEN>/'Or add to the file .mcp.json, in the project
{
"mcpServers": {
"intelbit-bitrix24-client": {
"type": "http",
"url": "https://<PORTAL value>/rest/<USER_ID value>/<your TOKEN>/"
}
}
}If the file already exists, add the server inside the mcpServers key.
Keys and settings
PORTALrequired- Bitrix24 portal URL
USER_IDrequired- User ID in webhook URL
TOKENsecret, required- Token in webhook URL
Replace the values in angle brackets with your own. Keys never go into install links and are not stored by us.
The button opens the agent and offers to add the server. If nothing happens, copy the config below.

Add intelbit-bitrix24-client to your Python project's dependencies, install with uv sync, and import Bitrix24Client with your inbound webhook URL to call Bitrix24 methods.
Other ways from the author
uv sync --extra devInstalls project dependencies via uv; the library is imported as intelbit_bitrix24_client.
This is third-party code. Review the repository files before installing.
What it does
This is not a ready MCP server but a plain async Bitrix24 REST API client built on httpx, which its authors (the Intelbit studio) use as the base for two of their own projects: a Bitrix24 MCP server and a River connector. The client provides single method calls that unwrap the {result, total, next} response envelope, streaming pagination via list_all supporting both legacy methods (start/next/total) and newer catalog.* methods wrapped in a result_key, and batching up to 50 commands in one request. Authorization is embedded in the inbound webhook URL, connections are not kept alive between calls, and on a QUERY_LIMIT_EXCEEDED error the client backs off exponentially and retries through a rate limiter. The library excludes Dadata, lead generation or FastAPI wiring; it is just the REST client itself.
Who it is for. For developers writing their own Python MCP server or Bitrix24 integration who do not want to rewrite batching, pagination and rate limiting from scratch.
Good fit when
- You are writing your own Python async MCP server or script for Bitrix24
- You need ready-made pagination across both legacy and newer catalog.* REST methods
- You need a rate-limit-resilient batch client instead of hand-rolled retries
Not a fit when
- You need a ready-to-use MCP server with out-of-the-box tools: this is only a client library with no MCP layer
- You need lead generation, Dadata or a FastAPI web layer: they are deliberately excluded from this library
Example request
Using this client, write a function that pages through all CRM companies with ID and TITLE fieldsLimitations
This is a foundation library, not a standalone agent tool: there is no MCP protocol, no CLI, no SKILL.md, just a Python client class to import into your own code. Dependency management is via uv; no standalone package install is documented. The code was extracted from the Intelbit studio's internal bitrix24-mcp project, and the studio itself holds the rights and the CLA.
How to disable. Remove the intelbit-bitrix24-client dependency from your project.
MCP
- Transport
- stdio
- Authentication
- API key
Security check
- Enables arbitrary Bitrix24 REST API calls, including write methods, if the calling code invokes them
- Call rights equal whatever the inbound webhook passed to the client constructor was granted
README in short
The README describes the library as a shared async Bitrix24 REST API client for two of the Intelbit studio's internal projects, gives install via uv sync, examples of a single call, streaming pagination across legacy and newer methods, and batch calls, explains the contract (auth in the webhook URL, no persistent connections, backoff on rate limits), and an "Origin" section noting the code was extracted from bitrix24-mcp and re-licensed under Apache 2.0 legitimately since Intelbit holds the CLA.
FAQ
Is this a ready MCP server?
No, it is only a REST API client library that its authors build their own MCP server and River connector on top of, separately.
How does the client handle Bitrix24 rate limits?
On a QUERY_LIMIT_EXCEEDED error it backs off exponentially and retries through a built-in rate limiter.
