mcp-1c
A local OneScript MCP server for searching a 1C configuration dump right from Cursor
Low risk
We rate an entry low when it mostly gives the agent instructions and reference material.
Why this level
- Only reads configuration dump files and the local reference database
- Does not connect to a live 1C database and does not execute code

}Added to the global %USERPROFILE%\.cursor\mcp.json after copying the build folder to a path with no Cyrillic characters.
This is third-party code. Review the repository files before installing.
What it does
The server runs through the OneScript interpreter and gives an agent five tools: searching BSL files by substring or regex, searching configuration XML, listing dump files and folders, reading a BSL module in full, by method list, or by a specific method body, and searching the 1C syntax helper reference through a local SQLite database. This saves an agent from manually walking dump files when working on a configuration. The syntax helper search needs a separate sql package for OneScript and a database file. A ready-made Cursor rule turns the server on automatically when .bsl and .xml configuration files are opened.
Who it is for. For 1C developers who work with a configuration dump in Cursor and want an agent to search code and metadata without spending extra tokens reading files by hand.
Good fit when
- Development happens in Cursor with a 1C configuration dumped to files
- You need fast search over BSL and XML without manually walking the structure
- You want to save agent tokens by not reading syntax helper docs manually
Not a fit when
- The server or dump path contains Cyrillic characters: Cursor passes it garbled and the server fails to start
- You need a more full-featured skill set: the author points to cc-1c-skills as a stronger alternative
- You use an agent other than Cursor
Example request
Find every module in the configuration dump that calls the BeforeWrite procedure and show their bodiesLimitations
The author states directly in the README that all code in the repository except one paragraph was written by AI agents. The server path must not contain Cyrillic characters, or Cursor passes it garbled. The server must not be registered in both the global and the project's local mcp.json at once, or Cursor starts two processes with the same name and one crashes. Requires OneScript 2.0+ installed and in PATH.
How to disable. Remove the mcp-1c-onescript block from %USERPROFILE%\.cursor\mcp.json and restart MCP in Cursor.

README in short
The README gives a table of five tools, requirements (OneScript, Cursor, the sql package for the reference search), step-by-step setup by copying the build folder and editing mcp.json, warnings about Cyrillic paths and duplicate server registration, installation via opm, and a check command using echo with a JSON-RPC request. The author states plainly that the code was written by AI agents and points to the more full-featured cc-1c-skills as an alternative.
FAQ
Can it be installed via the OneScript package manager?
Yes, a ready package exists: opm install -f 1c-mcp-0.2.0.ospx.
What if the server does not start?
The usual causes are Cyrillic characters in the main.os path or the server being registered in both the local and global mcp.json.
