What it does
pyaterochka-mcp is a local MCP server for automating shopping, product search, cart management and delivery checkout with Pyaterochka. The server runs only on your machine, does not send telemetry and stores no centralized data. It uses private APIs and can interact with an authorized Chrome tab or directly via HTTP. Real orders are submitted only after explicit user confirmation.
Who it is for. For developers and researchers automating shopping and delivery with Pyaterochka via MCP clients.
Good fit when
- You need to automate product search, cart assembly and delivery checkout with Pyaterochka via MCP.
- You require a local server with no data sent to third parties.
- You want to integrate with Codex or another MCP client for shopping automation.
Not a fit when
- Do not use if the service terms prohibit automation or private API access.
- Not suitable for users without a Pyaterochka or X5ID account.
- Do not use if you require official support or a stable public API.
Example request
In Codex, add the server with:
codex mcp add pyaterochka -- /absolute/path/to/pyaterochka-mcp/.venv/bin/pyaterochka-mcp
Then call the pyaterochka_status tool to check connectivity.MCP

Limitations
The project uses private APIs, which may violate service terms and lead to blocking. MCP runs locally only, is not affiliated with X5 Group and does not guarantee interface stability. Order placement requires Pyaterochka and X5ID authorization. Real order submission is disabled by default. Authorization and payment method handling require caution — MCP can trigger real charges after explicit confirmation.
How to disable. Stop the MCP server process and remove local configuration files. To fully clean up, delete the virtual environment and project folder.
FAQ
Is it safe to use pyaterochka-mcp for order placement?
MCP uses two-step order confirmation and keeps all data local. Handling private APIs and payment methods requires caution. Real order submission is disabled by default.
Can I use MCP without a Pyaterochka account?
No, you need to be authorized with Pyaterochka and X5ID to use it.
