What it does
The server gives an agent four tools: `search_products`, `get_product`, `get_reviews` and `compare_products`. Search walks real result pages with sorting and a price window, a card shows the price with the Ozon card, without it and before the discount, delivery dates for the region, seller legal details, variants and offers of other sellers. In reviews the rating of the SKU itself is separated from the rating Ozon shares across a whole variant line. Ozon blocks plain HTTP clients, so the server keeps one Chromium page on ozon.ru and calls the storefront API from inside it, renewing the session when it is revoked. Every answer carries `fetched_at` and the region the prices and dates were computed for. No account or token is needed, and the mode is read-only. 18+ products are marked `adult_only`, and the server sends no personal data.
Who it is for. Buyers and analysts who compare Ozon products by honest prices, ratings and delivery times and want to hand this to an agent.
Good fit when
- You need products found by query with a price window and sorting and real result pages seen
- The three card prices must be told apart: with the Ozon card, without it and crossed out
- A product shows the shared variant line rating but you need the SKU own rating from its reviews
- Up to 20 products are compared by price, delivery and the cheapest offer from other sellers
Not a fit when
- You need the seller side: orders, stock and the official Seller API are not read by this server
- You need a personal account sign-in: account mode is planned, the server is anonymous now
- The server must run on a machine without a Russian IP address: Ozon blocks foreign and many datacenter addresses

Limitations
The project is unofficial and uses the internal Ozon storefront API, which can change at any time. It needs Python 3.10 or newer, uv and Chromium through Playwright: about 300 MB of download on the first run. The first request of a session takes 15 to 35 seconds, then about a second. A Russian IP address is required, otherwise the Ozon anti-bot rejects requests. Ozon reports no total number of search results, and the end of results shows as an empty next page. MIT license, the last commit in November 2026, no stars.
How to disable. Run `claude mcp remove ozon` or remove the `ozon` entry from `.mcp.json`. The browser session is kept in `~/.cache/ozon-mcp`, and the folder can be deleted.
FAQ
Is an Ozon account needed?
No. The server reads the public storefront as an anonymous visitor, and no tokens or sign-in are needed.
How do the three prices differ?
`price_with_ozon_card_rub` is for paying with an Ozon Bank card, `price_without_ozon_card_rub` is for any other card, and `price_before_discount_rub` is crossed out and set by the seller.
How do I set the delivery region?
With the `OZON_LOCATION` variable: a city slug such as `moskva` or a link to your pickup point. Without it Ozon picks a city by IP, and the region is shown in every answer.
Why does the server launch a browser?
The Ozon anti-bot lets no plain HTTP client through, so requests run from a Chromium page. The browser closes after 10 idle minutes.
Can the server place orders?
No. A cart is planned for later, while checkout, payment and changing the delivery address are deliberately out of scope.
