What it does
The server wraps the official VK Ads API: reads campaigns, ad groups and banners, pulls statistics, and manages audiences, creatives, lead forms, surveys, subscriptions and price lists. A separate Core VK API block searches and scores public communities against an ad brief, sorting them into target, adjacent, partner, competitor and supplier communities. The README states 136 registered tools, 122 of them verified with real calls. The installer downloads the server itself, asks for a VK Ads client_id and client_secret, finds installed MCP clients and adds a shared Agent Skill to each one that suggests which tools to call. Creation, editing and bulk operations run only after an explicit request and a prior check of the account's current state.

By the project's own count, 14 of 136 tools are still unavailable or unverified with real calls. It needs Node.js 22 and a VK Ads OAuth client_id and client_secret, plus a separate VK OAuth login for community search. The repository does not publish versioned releases beyond the number shown in the README.
How to disable. Remove the vk-ads server from your connected MCP clients' configuration and delete the auth.env file with saved tokens.
