What it does
yacli ties Yandex Mail, Calendar and Disk into one interface: a terminal CLI, an MCP server over stdio or HTTP, and MCP Apps with a dashboard for hosts that support it. It ships ready cross-service workflows: save an email attachment to Disk, turn a calendar invite from an email into an event, attach a local file to an email. The MCP layer exposes tools for mail, calendar, disk, accounts and auth, plus 13 embedded skills, Russian-language prompts, and resources like a skills catalog and diagnostics. The yacli mcp install command registers the server directly in Claude Code, Claude Desktop, Codex, Gemini CLI, Cursor, Zed, Windsurf, Antigravity and Warp.

You need a Calendar app password and, per the docs, separate access setup for Mail and Disk via yacli setup. Some features (onboarding checklist, diagnostics, auto-fixes, activity history) are described as actively evolving, and releases have not reached 1.0 yet. The project comes from the NextStat studio, not from Yandex itself, so support is unofficial.
How to disable. Remove the server from your MCP client config manually, or rerun yacli mcp install to reset the registration, and delete the yacli binary.
