Why this level
- Delegated tasks write files and run commands through agy, and project code and content go to Gemini
- Session hooks inject routing rules into every run, and the migration command changes agy settings

What it does
The plugin splits work between two models. Claude Code leads the project: it sets requirements, designs the architecture and verifies the result. The Antigravity CLI (the `agy` command) on Gemini takes bulk tasks: scaffolding, tests, a first-pass review, migrations and web search. Shared rules live in an AGENTS.md file. Slash commands drive the plugin. `/antigravity:delegate` hands off a subtask, `/antigravity:handoff` hands over a whole task with tests, `/antigravity:review` asks another model for an independent opinion on a diff, and `/antigravity:research` runs research with citation checks. `/antigravity:media` analyses audio, video and images: Claude's context receives a timestamped digest while the full transcript goes to a file. Long jobs run in the background and are managed with `/antigravity:status`, `/antigravity:result` and `/antigravity:cancel`. A session-start hook injects cost-aware routing rules, and the antigravity-delegate subagent picks up bulk work without a command. The author reports measurements: hand-off mode on replayed pull requests cost 0.58 of a solo Claude run, and more on small tasks.
Who it is for. For developers who work in Claude Code, already use the Antigravity CLI and want to move routine work to a cheaper model.
Good fit when
- You need tests or a module scaffold generated while Claude stays on architecture and review
- You want another model's independent opinion on a diff: `/antigravity:review` lists remarks and Claude reconciles them
- You have an hour-long meeting recording and need a timestamped digest without a local ffmpeg and Whisper stack
- You want to carry your Claude Code setup over to `agy`: `/antigravity:migrate` only shows the plan by default
- A long task should run in the background while you work on another part of the project
Not a fit when
- The task is small and one-off: by the author's measurements, delegating small tasks costs more than a solo Claude run
- You work on native Windows: the author does not recommend Git Bash and MSYS, and macOS, Linux and WSL work reliably
- The Antigravity CLI is not installed or not signed in: the plugin is useless without `agy`, and `/antigravity:setup` checks readiness
- Code must not go to external Google services: delegated tasks are executed by Gemini through `agy`

This is a community project, affiliated with neither Google nor Anthropic. It needs Claude Code and an installed, signed-in Antigravity CLI: `agy models` should list Gemini models. For the cost benefit the author suggests running Claude Code on Vertex too.
macOS, Linux and WSL are supported reliably. On native Windows, `agy -p` without a real console can hang with an empty log, although the wrapper bounds the wait by time.
Costs in the plugin's reports are estimates: rates are stored in prices.json, and you should enter your real Vertex rates yourself. Whether delegation pays off remains Claude's judgment. Claude Code uses the Anthropic API, which is unavailable from Russia, and the availability of Gemini was not checked for this card.
How to disable. Disable the plugin with `/plugin uninstall antigravity@antigravity-for-claude-code`. Delegation hints switch off with the delegation_nudge setting in the plugin settings. `/antigravity:migrate --uninstall --apply` reverses a settings migration to `agy`.
FAQ
How do I install Antigravity in Claude Code?
Run `/plugin marketplace add yuting0624/antigravity-for-claude-code`, then `/plugin install antigravity@antigravity-for-claude-code` and `/antigravity:setup`. The last command checks that `agy` is installed and signed in and that the scripts are ready.
How is handoff different from delegate?
`/antigravity:delegate` hands off a subtask and Claude verifies the result itself. In `/antigravity:handoff`, `agy` receives the whole task with its tests, Claude reads nothing, and the wrapper runs the tests, allows one fix-up and reports.
How much does delegation cost compared with Claude alone?
The author measured eight merged pull requests from caddy, cli/cli, k6 and zoekt. File-by-file delegation cost 1.33–1.68 times a solo run, while handoff verified by tests cost 0.58, 0.43 on large tasks and 1.20 on small ones. At the Gemini price the project was actually billed, the overall saving disappears.
Can I move my Claude Code setup to Antigravity?
Yes, with `/antigravity:migrate`. It shows the plan by default, and `--apply` makes a backup first. Skills are read in place, CLAUDE.md gets an AGENTS.md symlink, and MCP servers are merged into the agy config. The plugin never writes to `~/.claude`.
What does /antigravity:media do?
It passes audio, video or an image to Gemini, which analyses it natively. You get a timestamped digest, and the full transcript is written to a file instead of Claude's context.

README in short
The page has a command table, a diagram of Claude conducting and Gemini executing, results of a comparison with solo Claude on an ADK task, and a section on moving settings. At the end the author describes two related projects: gemini-studio-mcp for Claude Desktop and quorum-review, where two models read one pull request independently.
