What it does
The repository bundles five Claude plugins from the Ask Ads team. The flagship yandex-direct plugin needs no install and no tokens of your own: it is a remote read-only connector at https://mcp.askads.cloud/mcp that physically cannot change anything in the account by the server's design, login goes through OAuth 2.1 with PKCE via your Yandex account, and the token is stored encrypted on Ask Ads' server and never passed to the model. It also installs a skill and the /yandex-direct:audit command for a ready campaign audit. The other four plugins run open-source MCP servers locally with the user's own tokens, prompted in a dialog when the plugin is enabled and stored in the system keychain: yandex-direct-api gives the full Yandex Direct API v5 including write tools with confirmation, vk-ads handles VK Ads campaigns and banners, yandex-metrica reads Metrika counters, goals and reports, and yandex-wordstat gives query frequency and seasonality.

The flagship yandex-direct connector works only through the Ask Ads cloud at mcp.askads.cloud, not directly against the Yandex API, and is subject to the service's own privacy policy and terms of use. The other four plugins require Node.js 20 or newer and the user's own service tokens, which must be obtained separately following links to the respective MCP servers. Wordstat additionally needs a Yandex Cloud API key and folder ID.
How to disable. Disable the plugin you no longer need via the Claude Code or Claude Desktop plugin interface, and for the flagship connector also revoke access in your Yandex account settings.
