What it does
A set of Claude Code subagents: the README names 161 subagents in ten categories, while the repository description says a hundred or so. The categories sit in the categories folder: core development, language specialists, infrastructure, quality and security, data and AI, developer experience, specialized domains, business and product, meta-orchestration and research. A subagent is connected as a plugin or copied into the Claude Code agents folder. The orchestrators from the voltagent-meta category work better together with agents from the other categories.
Who it is for. For people who work in Claude Code and want to connect narrow specialists instead of one general agent: languages, DevOps, security, data.
Good fit when
- You need a specialist agent for a specific language or stack
- You need a reviewer, a security auditor or an infrastructure specialist inside Claude Code
- You need a ready subagent template to adapt to a project
Not a fit when
- You need one small skill for a specific task: the set pulls in a lot of extra
- You cannot give subagents access to the project's files and commands
Example request
Connect a Python subagent and a security reviewer and use them to check the latest commitLimitations
Subagents get the agent's tools: reading and writing files and running commands. Read a subagent's description before connecting it and install only the needed categories. The README has a sponsors block, which does not affect the contents of the set. The README lists 161 subagents while the repository description says 100+, so we write more than 150. The repository was last updated on 05.10.2026.
How to disable. Remove installed plugins with claude plugin uninstall or the subagent files from the ~/.claude/agents folder.
