Access and checks
How we reviewExtended accessThe tool runs code or makes network calls and only reads external data.
- Accumulates repository details and your working style
- Version 0.1.x, the memory format may change
This is third-party code. Review the repository files before installing.
What it does
MemoraX Code gives Codex, Claude Code and other agents memory that outlives a session: architecture decisions, failed attempts, repository rules and working habits. It installs with `npm install -g @memorax/memorax-code`, and Node.js 20 or newer is needed (24 LTS is recommended) with at least one supported agent. For Codex you enable the MemoraX Code Codex Adapter in the plugin list. Version 0.1.19, the project is early. MIT license.
Who it is for. For developers whose agent starts every session without context and repeats the mistakes of earlier attempts.
Good fit when
- The agent forgets architecture decisions and repository rules between sessions
- You need memory shared between several agents such as Codex and Claude Code
- You need to keep working preferences
Not a fit when
- You need a mature project: version 0.1.x is still early
- You cannot let code details accumulate in agent memory
Example request
Recall why we gave up request-level caching last time and suggest an option for this taskLimitations
Version 0.1.x, so behavior and the memory format may still change. The plugin accumulates repository details and your working style, so code details and habits end up in memory. Check the documentation for where it is stored and do not enable the plugin in repositories with closed data without a reason. Access is extended.
How to disable. Disable the adapter in the agent and remove the package with npm uninstall -g @memorax/memorax-code. See the project documentation for where the accumulated memory data lives.
