PM Skills
A large library of professional Markdown skills, from PRDs and postmortems to decoding a lease, installable in Claude Code, Cursor and Codex
Install
npx pm-claude-skills add --agent claudeAlternative: open /plugin, find pm-skills and install a bundle, e.g. /plugin install pm-cowork@pm-skills.
This is third-party code. Review the repository files before installing.
What it does
Each skill covers one task: the method, an output template, quality checks and anti-patterns. Coverage includes product work, HR, sales, operations, research and everyday situations such as a deposit dispute or caring for a parent. Skills are grouped into themed plugin bundles, such as pm-cowork for office routine, pm-thinking for stress-testing decisions and pm-focus for planning. The pm-claude-skills CLI installs skills into your agent, lists them and can test your own skill against sample tasks.
Who it is for. For product managers, other professionals and anyone who wants structured professional output from an agent.
Good fit when
- You need a PRD, launch plan or incident review following a clear method
- You want to stress-test a decision for weak spots
- You need a template for routine work: status updates, inbox triage, spreadsheets
Not a fit when
- You need advice from a licensed legal, medical or financial professional
- You need Russian regulations and context; skills target an English-speaking context
Example request
Write a PRD for a PDF report export feature using the skill's templateLimitations
All skills are in English and follow Western practices and laws. There are very many skills, so installing everything clutters the list; installing individual bundles works better. Everyday and legal skills do not replace a professional.
How to disable. Uninstall the plugin via /plugin in Claude Code or delete the copied skill folders from the agent's directory.
Security check
- Skills consist only of instructions and templates
README in short
The README suggests starting from themed packs for a life or work situation and offers four entry points: a browser playground, a Claude Code plugin, npx for other agents and a catalog site. It describes the pm-thinking, pm-focus and pm-cowork bundles, a profession index and over a hundred bundles. Tools for testing your own skills and auditing MCP are included. MIT licensed.
FAQ
Do the skills contain executable code?
