What it does
The plugin talks directly to caldav.yandex.ru with no third-party server from the developer. In its MVP form it lists calendars, reads events for a period up to 366 days, creates a single event with an optional Yandex Telemost link, edits title, time, description and location, deletes an event or a whole calendar only after explicit confirm=true, and detects an ETag conflict to avoid overwriting a newer version of an event changed elsewhere. Editing recurrence rules, replying to invitations, bulk operations and OAuth for arbitrary accounts are deliberately out of the first version. The delete-calendar tool only accepts an exact URL from a fresh list, re-checks it against Yandex, and separately protects the primary and last remaining calendar from deletion.
Who it is for. For Codex users who want local, middleman-free access to Yandex Calendar with careful delete behavior.
Good fit when

This is a version 0.1 MVP with a deliberately narrow feature set, no recurrence rules, invitation replies or bulk operations. You need a Yandex app password of the Calendar type; a regular account password does not work. The private credentials file must have 0600 permissions, or the plugin refuses to read it. External HTTP is forbidden; requests go only to the configured caldav.yandex.ru origin.
How to disable. Remove the plugin with codex plugin remove yandex-calendar and, if needed, delete ~/.config/yandex-calendar-plugin/credentials.json.
