What it does

The install-anti-slop skill adds pluggable rules for the Oxlint linter to a repository and configures them. The rules reject weak patterns: chained type assertions, wide types such as unknown in returns, needless runtime typeof checks, accumulator copying in reduce and other signs of hasty code. On install the skill reads the package manager and project config, copies the rules as vendored code and enables them at the error level. A separate procedure updates an existing copy while preserving local choices.

Limitations

The rules target Oxlint and its plugin format. Code is vendored into the repository and updates go through a separate procedure. There is an extra rule set for the Effect library.

How to disable. Remove the anti-slop entry from jsPlugins in the Oxlint config and delete the tools/oxlint/anti-slop folder.
