What it does

The skill gives the agent access to daily rankings of agent skills gathered from several ecosystems. Data comes from skills.sh, ClawHub, Tencent SkillHub, GitHub and social platforms, and each metric is kept in open CSV files with per-platform raw numbers. When the user asks which skill to install, what is trending or how popular a given skill is, the agent reads the right list and answers with rank, raw numbers, an install command and a link. There are nine lists: overall score, installs, rising, buzz, active, official and others. The skill recommends and links, but installs nothing itself.

Limitations

Only the top 100 per list is published; there is no full catalog of every skill. Numbers from different platforms are not summed but shown side by side, and an empty cell means not measured, not zero. Data refreshes daily, so for accuracy the agent reads the current CSV rather than a cache. The data license is CC BY 4.0 and republishing requires attribution to the source.

How to disable. Remove the best-skills folder from your agent's skills directory.

## When to use

## Workflow

1. Fetch llms.txt first. It is the current column dictionary and the rules.
2. Pick the list, fetch the matching CSV. Parse by header name; an empty cell means not measured, not zero.
3. Answer with rank, the raw numbers, install and url.

## Rules

- Never add install counts across platforms; present them side by side.
- Absent from a list is not zero; lists are truncated at 100.
