What it does
Human Skill Tree is a library of installable Agent Skills that turns an agent into a structured learning mentor. The skills give the agent pedagogical guardrails: hints instead of ready answers, spaced repetition and active recall. A meta-skill teaches the learning method itself, while the others cover school subjects, university, research and writing, career tracks and social skills such as communication and negotiation. Each skill installs on its own or as the whole folder into the agent's skills directory. It is compatible with Claude Code, Cursor, Codex and Gemini CLI.
Who it is for. For teachers, tutors and self-directed learners who want a mentor agent grounded in learning science.

The skills are pedagogical instructions and references; they steer the agent but do not replace a teacher or guarantee outcomes. The material is bilingual, English and Chinese. The license is AGPL-3.0, so check the license terms for commercial use. Part of the repository is a web demo; the skills folder is what the agent needs.
How to disable. Remove the human-skill-tree skill folders from the agent's skills directory, for example ~/.claude/skills/.

By design no. The guardrails favor hints over ready answers so the learner builds skill instead of losing it.
