Why this level
- Skills instruct the agent to edit code and run checks, so review the changes in the diff.

In your terminal, with SkillFoxx CLI
npx skillfoxx add skills/instructa-agent-skillsDetects the agents on your machine, shows the access level and pins the version.

What it does
The Instructa repository gathers separate agent skills installed one at a time through the open `skills` CLI. The main block is engineering discipline: `hard-cut` replaces legacy paths with one canonical implementation, `root-cause-finder` traces a failure to its first cause, `architecture-ownership` and `find-duplicate-ownership` find the owner of code and competing sources of truth. Other skills cover testing (`consolidate-test-suites`, `lean-testing`), CI (`lean-ci`), security (`secleak-check`, `package-security-check`), Git (`gitwhat`), Go, Electron and orchestration (`sitrep`). Each skill has a README in `docs/skills/`, and the table shows a rating and number of usage sessions.
Who it is for. Developers running a large project together with an agent who suffer from duplicated logic, excess tests and architectural sprawl.
Good fit when
- An agent left the old and the new path in code and only one should remain.
- A test fails and the cause lies deeper than the first suspicious line.
- The test suite grew and duplicated coverage should move to the owning layer.
- Secrets and JavaScript dependencies are checked before a release.
Not a fit when
- One ready skill on a narrow topic is needed, not a whole set; a dedicated repository is simpler.
- The project is small and there is no architectural drift yet.
- The agent does not support the `SKILL.md` format.
Example request
Find duplicated implementations of one function in this project, propose which to keep and remove the rest following the hard-cut rule.Limitations
The repository lists no license, so confirm usage terms with the author. Some skills have few usage sessions, as the README table shows. The skills reflect one author's practice and may differ from your team's rules. Ratings and session counts in the README table are given by the author and were not independently verified. Read the `SKILL.md` of the needed skill before installing: some skills run checks and commands in your environment.
How to disable. Remove an unneeded skill from the agent's skills folder or with the `skills` CLI. The other skills in the set are independent and keep working.
FAQ
How do I see the full list?
Run `npx skills add instructa/agent-skills --list`. It prints the available skills without installing.
How do I install one skill?
For example `npx skills add instructa/agent-skills --skill architecture-ownership`. The `-g` flag installs it globally.
Which agents are supported?
Codex, Claude Code, Cursor and other Agent Skills clients.
What is hard-cut for?
The skill removes legacy: one canonical path stays instead of two. It suits cleanup after large agent edits.
Which skill groups exist?
Engineering, Codex, orchestration, security, Git, Go and Electron. Each skill is described in `docs/skills/<name>/README.md`.

README in short
The README explains installing through `skills`, then groups skills by topic: engineering, Codex, orchestration, security, Git, Go and Electron. The table gives purpose, rating and install command.
