PR Lens
A skill that draws every pull request as an architecture and data-flow diagram right in the PR description, to speed up review
Medium risk
We rate an entry medium when the tool runs code, makes network calls or reads project files. Check what exactly it does before installing.
Why this level
- The skill reads the diff and repository code
- It publishes a diagram into the pull request description via repository access
Install
In your terminal, with SkillFoxx CLI
npx skillfoxx add skills/pr-lensDetects the agents on your machine, checks the risk and pins the version.
Other ways to install

Install the skill: npx skills add coldteadotai/pr-lens. The agent analyzes the diff and uses npx @coldtea/pr-lens-cli to build and add the diagram to the PR description.
Other ways from the author
npx skills add coldteadotai/pr-lensInstalls the agent skill; rendering and comments run via npx @coldtea/pr-lens-cli.
This is third-party code. Review the repository files before installing.
What it does
PR Lens helps a coding agent show pull request changes visually. The agent reads the diff, builds a document describing the architecture and data flows and renders a diagram, which it puts into the PR description. This speeds up review: the reviewer sees the structure of the changes, not only a list of lines. The skill installs via the coding-agent installer, and a companion CLI separately analyzes, renders and comments on the PR. The project is also available as a GitHub App and Action.
Who it is for. For developers and reviewers who need to grasp the substance of pull request changes faster.
Good fit when
- You need to visualize the architecture of PR changes
- You need to speed up review of large pull requests
- You need a data-flow diagram right in the PR description
Not a fit when
- Changes are small and a diagram is unnecessary
- You do not work with pull requests
Example request
Build an architecture and data-flow diagram for this pull request and add it to the descriptionLimitations
The skill builds a diagram from the diff, and quality depends on the agent's model and the size of the changes. Rendering and PR comments use the companion CLI, and publishing into the PR description needs repository access. The GitHub App option needs its own permission setup.
How to disable. Remove the skill via npx skills remove or from the agent's skills directory; for the GitHub App revoke its access in the repository settings.
Security check
- The skill reads the diff and repository code
- It publishes a diagram into the pull request description via repository access
README in short
The README presents PR Lens as a tool that draws a pull request as an architecture and data-flow diagram right in the PR description. For a coding agent there is a skill installed via the skills installer and a companion CLI that analyzes the diff, renders the diagram and comments on the PR. The project is also available as a GitHub App and Action. It works with Claude Code, Codex, Gemini CLI, Cursor, OpenCode and Copilot. MIT licensed.
FAQ
Where does the diagram go?
Into the pull request description, so the reviewer sees the change structure in place.
Skill only or other options?
There is also a CLI, a GitHub App and a GitHub Action; the skill is the coding-agent option.
