What it does
Given a text query, the skill finds product cards via key-free DuckDuckGo search plus a per-market browser search, collects price, rating, review count and seller, and for Wildberries and Ozon also full review texts (Yandex Market currently exposes only the aggregate rating). Heuristics filter out junk reviews like "haven't used it yet" or "courier gets 5 stars", flag a possible counterfeit when the price is under 70% of the median, and warn when the found item doesn't match the searched brand. The report separately names the cheapest genuine option and the best price-to-quality pick, both headless with no browser windows popping up.
Who it is for. For people who ask a pi, Claude Code or Codex agent to quickly compare prices and reviews for a specific product across the three largest Russian marketplaces.
Good fit when

Needs PHP 8.2+, composer, Node 20+, npm and google-chrome or chromium in PATH, Windows is untested. Ozon is protected by the Variti anti-bot and is only passed with a full headless Chromium via Playwright, not a lightweight browser build. Discovery can pull in irrelevant items (Yandex Market promo items, a different category with the same word), left for the user or agent to filter.
How to disable. Delete the shop-scout folder from your agent's skills directory (~/.claude/skills/, ~/.codex/skills/ or the pi equivalent).
