What it does
TWHSI Skills is an open skill set for notes, plans and publishing, written for Chinese-speaking users. The central trio is called the "Three Kings". The imandalart skill compresses material into a 3×3 text card with one center idea and eight independent angles. The thebrain-bird-address skill gives every knowledge node an address and a route for retrieval and cross-chapter links. The a4-eight-page-booklet skill turns them into an eight-page booklet on one A4 sheet: a readable PDF, a print version and an editable DOCX. Separate skills sit alongside. The keyword-graph-view skill extracts exactly eight keywords from a text and builds a graph with definitions and sources. The weekly-reverse-review skill runs a weekly review in reverse, drawing on the annual plan, last week, daily entries and inbox tasks. The concise-key-points skill, by the author's account, shortens an agent answer by about 70% while keeping at least 95% of essential information. Other skills cover Luhmann-style card numbering, turning notes into EPUB, a daily plan and an 81-cell goal grid. The source of truth is the skills folder, where every skill has its own SKILL.md. The project site serves agent.json, skills.json and llms.txt manifests that let an agent find the skills itself.
Who it is for. For people who keep notes and plans in Chinese or mixed text and want to turn drafts into cards, knowledge addresses and printed booklets.
Good fit when
- You need to compress a long source into an iMandalArt card with a center idea and eight angles for a daily plan
- You study a book and want to give every claim an address and route for TheBrain, Obsidian or Roam
- You need a one-sheet A4 booklet with a reading PDF, a print version and an editable DOCX
- Before a new week you want a reverse review across the annual plan, diaries and calendar
- You need to pull eight keywords from an article and build a graph with definitions
Not a fit when
- You work in English with no Chinese material: the card and label format is built for CJK characters
- You need a general note manager: the set relies on the author's own techniques such as 3×3 cards and BIRD addresses
- You do not want an agent to read diaries and calendar: weekly-reverse-review uses them as inputs
- You need ready install commands for Claude Code: the documented path is for Codex
Example request
Use imandalart: compress these notes into a 3×3 card with a center idea and eight anglesLimitations
- The main language of the skills is Chinese with CJK examples; English explanations are partial. iMandalArt cards are optimized for CJK text and plain text without tables.
- The docs describe installation for Codex: each folder from skills is copied with cp -R into ~/.codex/skills/. For Claude Code you have to find the skills directory path yourself.
- The A4 booklet includes a print imposition and a DOCX, so checking the result may need a local office suite.
- The repository carries no license, so check reuse terms with the author.
How to disable. Delete the needed skill folder from ~/.codex/skills/. The other skills of the set keep working independently.
FAQ
How do I install TWHSI skills in Codex?
Clone the repository and copy the folder you need, for example cp -R skills/imandalart ~/.codex/skills/. Other skills from the skills directory are copied the same way. You can check an install with the quick_validate.py script described in docs/install.md.
What is iMandalArt 2.2?
A 3×3 text card: a center axis of five characters and eight surrounding angles labeled Ⓐ to Ⓗ. Each cell takes three lines, and the whole card fits into 11 text lines so it survives chats and note apps.
How are the three main skills connected?
They work as a chain: imandalart compresses the material, thebrain-bird-address gives addresses and routes, a4-eight-page-booklet assembles a booklet from them. Page one of the booklet holds the iMandalArt overview and pages two to eight hold seven BIRD routes.
What does the concise-key-points skill do?
By the author account, it shortens the default length of an agent answer by about 70% and keeps at least 95% of essential information.
What should an agent know about the project site?
The site publishes agent.json, skills.json and llms.txt with a skill index and install commands. An agent can start with curl -s https://www.twhsi.com/llms.txt.

--- name: imandalart description: "Create iMandalArt 2.2 pure-text 3x3 Mandala index cards with a five-character center axis, eight orthogonal surrounding angles labeled Ⓐ-Ⓗ, compact title cells such as Ⓐ健康復節, hard-line CJK layout, optional の字型 ordering, and 井字號 compass ordering. Use when the user asks for iMandalArt, iMandalart, I MandalArt, の字型, ◊字型, 井字號, 中國城市方位, 64+8+1, 手機方形曼陀羅, 正方形九宮索引卡, 五字定格, ◎中心, Ⓐ-Ⓗ 九宮卡, TheBrain/Cerebro preview-safe hard-line cards, or a square 3x3 card that is not a Markdown table, visible-border PE2 card, or 81-cell Mandala." --- # iMandalArt 2.2 ## Purpose Use this skill to turn any source material into one iMandalArt 2.2 pure-text 3x3 card. iMandalArt 2.2 is: - One center idea. - Eight orthogonal surrounding angles. - A pure-text 3x3 card with hard line breaks. - Three lines per cell: a short title row and two content rows. - A center axis that displays `◎◎◎◎◎`, one five-Han-character center line, then `◎◎◎◎◎` again. - A note-friendly thinking object for TheBrain, Hermes, Discord, Codex, other LLM chat surfaces, or clipboard use. iMandalArt 2.2 is not: - A Markdown table. - A visible-border PE2 card. - An HTML-only visual artifact. - An 81-cell Mandala. - A long explanatory essay. ## Default Deliverable Default to an iMandalArt 2.2 pure-text hard-line card. 1. Read the source material first. If the user provides a file path, JSON, note, article, or pasted text, inspect the content before generating. 2. Identify the central thought and compress it into one five-Han-character center line. 3. Orthogonally decompose the material into eight surrounding angles. Avoid synonym-only repeats. 4. Give each surrounding angle a four-Han-character title directly prefixed by `Ⓐ` through `Ⓗ`. 5. Write two modern, plain-language five-Han-character lines for each surrounding cell. 6. Render the center as `◎◎◎◎◎`, one five-Han-character center line, then `◎◎◎◎◎`. 7. Render the final answer as the 11-line 3x3 card only. For LLM chat surfaces such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Codex, or Discord, wrap the card in a fenced `text` code block so hard line breaks and full-width spaces survive rendering. For TheBrain/Cerebro direct note insertion or clipboard-only workflows, emit the raw 11-line card without a Markdown fence. ## Three Kings 2.2 Integration
