What it does
uni-helper/skills collects knowledge for building with uni-app, a cross-platform Vue framework, in one repository. Two skills are generated from documentation: the uni-app core and a reference for functions, components and plugins of the uni-helper ecosystem. The rest are synced from their authors repositories: `vueuse-functions`, `vue-best-practices`, `web-design-guidelines`, `unocss`, `vite`, `pinia` and `vue`. The skills CLI installs the set with one command. The agent loads the relevant skill when a task touches uni-app or a neighbouring tool.
Who it is for. Developers of cross-platform apps on uni-app and Vue 3 who build the project together with an agent.
Good fit when
- In a uni-app project the agent confuses platform APIs and framework components.
- Ready-made VueUse composition functions are needed for Vue 3.
- Builds run on Vite and styling uses UnoCSS.
- Application state lives in Pinia and the agent needs current practices.
Not a fit when
- The app is native or built on another cross-platform framework.
- A battle-tested collection is required: the authors call the project a proof of concept without full testing.
- Only one neighbouring tool matters, for example VueUse: its own repository is simpler.
Example request
Create a list page in uni-app and wire up a Pinia store, relying on the uni-helper skills.Limitations
The authors call the project a proof of concept: the skills are not yet tested in practice and feedback is requested. The repository description is written in Chinese. External skills are synced from other repositories, so their content follows the original source. The set grew from a fork of `antfu/skills`, so some skills come from neighbouring projects. The last commit in the repository is dated March 2026, so the agent checks recent uni-app and Vue versions against documentation.
How to disable. Delete the set skill folders from the agent skill directory: in the project or in the user directory if you installed with `--all -g`.
FAQ
How do I install every skill of the set globally?
Run `pnpx skills add uni-helper/skills --all -g`. CLI details are described in the `vercel-labs/skills` project.
Which skills are in the set?
Two skills are built from documentation: the uni-app core and the uni-helper reference. Seven more come from external repositories covering VueUse, Vue best practices, web design, UnoCSS, Vite, Pinia and Vue.
How does the set differ from `vue-skills`?
`vue-skills` covers Vue 3 only. This set adds uni-app skills and includes the Vue skills as one part.
Where do the skills come from?
Two come from the official uni-app documentation and the uni-helper site. The others are synced from `vueuse/skills`, `vuejs-ai/skills`, `vercel-labs/agent-skills` and `antfu/skills`.
Can the skills be trusted without a check?
Not fully. The authors state they have not tested the skills in practice and ask for feedback in the repository, so compare agent output with the documentation.
