What it does
The skill turns Claude Code or Codex into a motion studio: from product screenshots and a description the agent storyboards, animates and sound-designs a promo, marketing or demo video with Remotion. It ships a library of shot recipe cards listing purpose, energy, duration, parameters and common pitfalls, each with a TSX implementation carrying the real timing and easing. There is a validated Ink Press template, 36 seconds at 1920 by 1080, into which your screenshots, copy and branding are swapped. Work runs in one of three modes: the ready template, autonomous authoring by the agent, or guided co-creation with stage confirmations. The skill can also open a browser motion workbench after delivery and export the project to JianYing (CapCut CN) for further editing.
Who it is for. For designers, marketers and developers who need to quickly assemble a product promo video right inside the agent.

Rendering runs through Remotion, which has its own license: free for individuals and small teams, while companies may need a paid one. A Node environment is required, and on low-core or headless machines rendering needs separate concurrency flags and a chrome-headless-shell path. JianYing export is verified on macOS; the Windows version is untested. Template screenshots are demonstration assets, so you must swap in your own data before publishing and anonymize it where needed.
How to disable. Remove the video-shotcraft symlink or folder from the skills directory (~/.claude/skills/ or ~/.codex/skills/). If installed as a plugin, remove it via /plugin.

Do I have to start from the template?
No. You can use the ready Ink Press template, hand shot selection and storyboarding to the agent, or co-create with stage confirmations. If no shot is specified, the skill offers the built-in template first.
