What it does
The skill gives an agent a procedure for creating, finding, updating and commenting on YouGile cards through a bundled Python script that runs on the standard library with no external dependencies. Before creating a card, the skill requires explicitly resolving the project-board-column hierarchy through separate commands instead of guessing ids, can resolve assignees by email or name, supports a dry-run preview before actually creating a card, and a dedupe flag to avoid duplicates. For uncommon fields like checklists or timers, you can pass a JSON file directly in the CreateTaskDto format. It also documents typical API errors: 401, 403, 404, 429 with a 50 requests per minute per company limit.

The project is small: SKILL.md, an API reference, and one Python script, with no stars. It is formally written for the Hermes agent platform and its secure setup mechanism for secrets, not for Claude Code or the other agents in the common list, though the SKILL.md format and script can be used outside Hermes with manual YOUGILE_API_KEY setup.
How to disable. Remove the skill folder from your Hermes install or from your own skills collection.

Does the skill work outside Hermes?
The SKILL.md format is standard and the script uses only Python's standard library, so it can be wired into other agents manually by setting YOUGILE_API_KEY.
How does it avoid duplicates on retries?
The --dedupe flag returns an existing card with an exact title match in the same column instead of creating a new one.
