What it does
CC Workflow Studio lets you build an agent workflow on a canvas and turn it into files the agent understands: skills, commands and sub-agents. A single workflow.json works through three interfaces: a VSCode extension with a React Flow canvas, the ccwf CLI (render, validate, export, run, preview, canvas, mcp) and the ccwf-mcp MCP server, through which an external agent reads and edits workflows over stdio. Export targets Claude Code, GitHub Copilot Chat and CLI, Codex CLI, Roo Code, Gemini CLI, Antigravity and Cursor, each in its own directory format. A flow drawn on the canvas can be rendered in the browser with ccwf preview.
Who it is for. For developers and team leads who design repeatable workflows for coding agents and want to keep them as files.

The canvas is most ergonomic in the VSCode extension, but the same file is available via the CLI and MCP. For agents other than Claude Code, export must be enabled from the More menu. This is a process-design tool, not ready domain skills. The exported skills and commands are then run by the agent itself.
How to disable. Uninstall the VSCode extension, remove the ccwf-mcp entry from the MCP client config and remove the @cc-wf-studio/cli and @cc-wf-studio/mcp packages.

FAQ
Is VSCode required?
No. The same workflow.json works through the ccwf CLI and the ccwf-mcp server; the extension is just the most convenient canvas editor.
Where do exported processes go?
Into the target agent's directories: .claude, .codex, .cursor and others, each in its own format.
