What it does
ReelMimic takes a video you like and makes a new one in the same style: a multi-agent 2D animation pipeline. Installation by cloning: `git clone https://github.com/edenfunf/reelmimic.git && cd reelmimic`. Keys of paid generation services are stored in `~/.reelmimic/secrets.json` outside the repository. MIT license. The style is carried over and not the work itself: rights to the source video and music stay with the user.
Who it is for. For short video creators who want a new clip in the style of a video they liked.
Good fit when
- You need a new clip in the style of a liked sample
- You need a multi-agent 2D animation pipeline
- You need animation generation from a style sample
Not a fit when
- You need a copy of someone else's video: the rights belong to the source's author
- You cannot spend paid generation keys
Example request
Take my animation sample and make a new clip in the same style about an app launchLimitations
The tool carries over the style and does not copy the work: rights to the source video and music stay with the user, so do not publish a result resembling someone else's work. Paid generation keys are needed and costs are on your side. Keys are in the ~/.reelmimic/secrets.json file: do not publish it. Access is extended.
How to disable. Remove the skill from the agent's folder or the plugin through the plugin manager.
