Broad access
Why this level
- The dashboard approves commands and types into agent sessions, so access to it equals access to your coding agents.
- Refinery merges branches into `main` without a manual `git merge` once the gates pass.
- Starting with `--host 0.0.0.0` opens the dashboard to the local network.
Install
- Works in
In your terminal, with SkillFoxx CLI
npx skillfoxx add cli/adhdevDetects the agents on your machine, shows the access level and pins the version.

What it does
ADHDev is a local daemon with a web dashboard that attaches to coding agents you already have installed: Claude Code, Codex, Cursor CLI, OpenCode, Kimi, Grok and Antigravity. You launch and steer sessions from a browser or a phone: chat, a live terminal and approvals in a shared inbox instead of prompts that block an unattended console. Mesh mode binds a repository to several machines. Tasks enter a shared queue, an idle machine claims one into its own git worktree, the project's gates verify the result, then Refinery rebases and merges the branch into `main` if `main` has not moved. Task difficulty selects the model and parallel slot cap, so cheap models take routine work. Chat, commands and screenshots travel over an encrypted WebRTC channel directly between dashboard and daemon.
Who it is for. Developers who run several coding agents and machines and want a shared dashboard, task queue and automatic merging.
Good fit when
- Several agents work on one repository and each task needs its own git worktree.
- An agent's approval request shows up in the dashboard instead of blocking a closed terminal.
- A laptop and a build server claim tasks from one shared queue with dependencies.
- An important investigation goes to two or three workers on different providers and the coordinator compares the answers.
Not a fit when
- One agent on one machine: the vendor's built-in remote features may be enough.
- A person must do the merge into `main`: Refinery works without a manual `git merge`.
- The dashboard would be opened to the local network without a token or password.
Example request
Queue three tasks with dependencies, hand them to idle machines and tell me when the gates let the merge into main through.Limitations
Node.js 22 LTS, git and at least one authenticated coding agent are required, and ADHDev does not store agent keys. On Windows with Node.js 24 or newer the normal start is blocked, so use Node.js 22.x or the PowerShell installer. Phone push, project transfer between machines and access beyond your own network belong to the cloud edition. The public repository is a mirror: the auto-merge history stays in a private monorepo. The licence is AGPL-3.0.
How to disable. Stop the daemon and run `npm uninstall -g adhdev`. Clean the `~/.adhdev` folder with providers and data by hand.
FAQ
How do I run ADHDev locally?
Run `npm install -g adhdev` and `adhdev standalone`, then open `http://localhost:3847`. No account is needed.
Which agents does it support?
CLI agents: Claude Code, Codex, Cursor CLI, OpenCode, Kimi, Grok and Antigravity. IDE extensions named include Claude Code for VS Code, Codex, Cline and Roo Code.
How does ADHDev differ from Claude Code Remote Control?
Remote Control drives one session of one vendor. ADHDev adds a shared queue across vendors and machines, quota-aware routing and gate-verified merging.
How do I open the dashboard to other devices on the network?
Run `adhdev standalone --host 0.0.0.0` and set `--token` or a dashboard password. Without them the dashboard warns about open access.
Does ADHDev store agent keys?
No. Each agent uses its own authentication and ADHDev reports installation status and errors.

README in short
The daemon does not replace agents or spawn its own: it attaches to installed ones and gives them one dashboard. Support for a new agent comes from a `provider.v1.json` manifest in `~/.adhdev/providers/`.
