Access and checks

How we review

Extended accessThe tool runs code or makes network calls and only reads external data.

  • oah creates symlinks in project folders and, with --global, in the assistant's settings in the home folder
  • oah sync downloads skills from external sources
  • Enabled skills and roles gain influence over agent behavior

This is third-party code. Review the repository files before installing.

What it does

open-agent-hub is a storage repository and a lightweight, zero-dependency CLI called oah. The repository holds three kinds of building blocks: skills (modular prompts, more than 80), agent roles and slash commands. oah creates symlinks to them in a project working folder or in the assistant's global settings. There are five agents: architect, debugger, refactorer, reviewer and tester. There are three commands: /commit, /review and /test-tdd. Skills include material on evaluation, Remotion, generative graphics and a learning guide to Claude products. oah list shows every component found, oah status checks link state, oah enable turns on one component or all at once, and oah disable turns them off. Eight targets are supported: Claude Code, Antigravity, Gemini CLI, Codex, Cursor, Trae, OpenCode and Kiro, and the --target=all flag configures them together. If you only need skills, you can install them without cloning through npx skills.

Who it is for. For people who work in several AI assistants and want to keep skills, roles and commands in one place instead of copying them between folders.

Good fit when

  • Claude Code and Cursor work in one project and the skill set must be the same in .claude and .cursor
  • You want ready reviewer, tester and refactorer roles and the /review and /commit slash commands
  • You want to switch skills on and off one by one with oah enable canvas-design and oah disable
  • You need to pull skill updates from external sources with one oah sync command
  • You just want a skill set without cloning: npx skills@latest add guanyang/open-agent-hub --skill remotion

Not a fit when

  • You need one small skill: the store is large, so installing just the folder you need is simpler
  • You need skills translated between agent formats: oah links files as they are
  • You do not want a tool creating links in the assistant's global settings (the --global flag)
  • You need a graphical panel: oah is command line only

Example request

Enable all open-agent-hub skills, agents and commands in this project for Cursor and show which links appeared

Limitations

oah installs from a clone of the repository with npm link, so you need Node, npm and a permanent place for the store folder. Skills, agents and commands attach as symlinks, so the cloned folder is best kept in a permanent location. Installing skills only needs just npx skills.

Some skills come from external communities. The repository includes SECURITY.md for reporting vulnerabilities. The README and docs are in English with no Russian translation, though there is a Chinese README.zh-CN.md.

How to disable. Run oah disable in the project (or oah disable --global for global settings), then npm unlink and delete the cloned folder. Skills installed through npx skills are removed with the same manager.

FAQ

How do I install open-agent-hub in Claude Code?

The shortest route: npx skills@latest add guanyang/open-agent-hub, which installs skills. For skills, agents and commands clone the repository, run npm link and then oah enable. The default target is claude, meaning the project's .claude folder.

How does oah enable --global differ from the plain call?

The plain call creates links in the current project folder, for example .claude. With --global the links appear in the assistant's home settings, for example ~/.claude, and apply to all projects.

Which assistants does oah support?

Claude Code, Antigravity, Gemini CLI, Codex, Cursor, Trae, OpenCode and Kiro. You choose with the --target flag, and the value all turns on all of them. The repository also ships native plugin configurations for Claude Code, Codex and Cursor.

What is oah sync?

The command syncs skills with the external sources in skills_sources.json and updates them. You can sync all sources at once or a single one, for example oah sync anthropics-skills.

How is open-agent-hub different from Agent Skill Manager?

open-agent-hub keeps its own set of skills, agents and commands and lays them out with links. Agent Skill Manager searches and installs skills from different repositories and checks them before installing.

README in short

The README opens with a description of the tool, the repository structure and a compatibility table for eight assistants with project and global paths. Two install routes follow, through npx skills and through a clone with npm link, then a reference of oah commands with filters and options. Sections on sync, security and contributing close it.

# Claude Academy guide

## Purpose

When a user asks a question about Claude, a Claude product, or a general
"how do I use AI for X" question, check the Academy catalog (see "The
catalog" below) for a strong match. If one exists, mention it naturally at
the end of your normal answer.

All content lives on [Claude Academy](https://academy.claude.com),
Anthropic's learning hub. It offers three kinds of content:

- **Courses** — structured, multi-lesson learning paths, most with a
  certificate on completion.
- **Tutorials** — short practical guides to a single feature or workflow.
- **Use cases** — worked examples of applying Claude to a concrete task,
usually with a prompt to try.

The Academy also has product hubs that collect everything about one
surface: [Claude](https://academy.claude.com/claude),
