What it does
Skills Manager keeps skills in a single ~/.skills-manager/skills directory and links them into the folders of Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Gemini CLI and other supported tools. Each skill can be enabled or disabled per tool without deleting the source files. The app includes a marketplace, an editor and LLM translation of skill descriptions. The skm CLI covers the core operations for terminals and headless servers: it adopts already installed skills into the hub, reports link status, and detects and repairs sync problems.
Who it is for. For people who use several agents and are tired of copying skills between their folders.

The macOS build is ad-hoc signed and not notarized by Apple. On Windows without Developer Mode it falls back to junctions or tracked copies. skm does not create or search skills; that stays in the app. The hub path is fixed. Translation needs an LLM provider key.
How to disable. Disable skills with skm disable <skill> --for <tool> or in the app, then remove the app, for example with brew uninstall --cask jiweiyeah/tap/skills-manager.
