What it does

The server gives the agent 16 actions over the two parts of the Yandex Delivery B2B API: same-day express delivery and next-day, Russia-wide, pickup-point and locker delivery. The agent can price a shipment and get a courier ETA, prepare and book it, find an order by status or phone, get the courier's position and a public tracking link for the recipient, and check cancellation terms before cancelling. The server clearly separates pricing, preparation and booking: a real order is only created at the confirmation step. Next-day delivery has a sandbox limited to Moscow addresses; same-day delivery has none, but pricing and reading existing requests are safe.

Who it is for. For companies and sole proprietors already connected to the Yandex Delivery B2B API who want to book and track shipments from an agent chat.

Good fit when

  • You need a quick price and ETA between two addresses
  • You need to book a shipment and get a recipient tracking link right away
  • You need to check status, courier position or paid cancellation terms

Not a fit when

  • You have no corporate Yandex Delivery contract or a token from the dashboard
  • You need a same-day sandbox: Yandex does not offer one at all
  • You need continuous automatic order tracking without calling the agent

Limitations

Requires a corporate client token; next-day and pickup-point delivery also need a shipping station connected. The token sits in the client config in plain text. The server is not read-only: it can book and cancel a real delivery, and cancellation can be paid. Confirmation before write actions depends on the AI application's own policy. There is no background order watching, only status checks on request.

How to disable. Run claude mcp remove yandex-dostavka in Claude Code or delete the yandex-dostavka block from your client config.

FAQ

Can I safely test it without a real order?

For same-day delivery, pricing and reading existing requests are safe. For next-day delivery there is a sandbox with Moscow addresses via YANDEX_DELIVERY_PLATFORM_BASE_URL.

Is cancellation free?

Not always: the server checks cancellation terms first, and whether it is paid depends on the current status and Yandex Delivery's rules.
