What it does
Concord MCP connects running agents: live messages, detecting overlapping work and handing off tasks between Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Gemini CLI and Grok Build. Installation: `npm install -g @concord-ai/concord-mcp`. By default it sends telemetry to getconcord.ai, which is turned off by the `CONCORD_TELEMETRY_DISABLED=1` or `DO_NOT_TRACK=1` variable, and the Privacy & telemetry section describes the contents. Version 0.10.5 from 23.09.2026, MIT license.
Who it is for. For developers who run several agents on one project and want them not to get in each other's way.
Good fit when
- Several agents work on one project
- You need to notice overlapping agent work
- You need task handoff between agents
Not a fit when
- You cannot send work data to an external server
- You need only one agent: the communication will not be needed
Example request
Show which files another agent is editing now and hand it the testing task without touching its filesMCP
- Transport
- stdio
- Authentication
- not required
Environment variables
CONCORD_TELEMETRY_DISABLEDrequired- Environment variable CONCORD_TELEMETRY_DISABLED, the value is set in the client or a .env file
Limitations
By default the server sends telemetry to getconcord.ai: turn it off with the CONCORD_TELEMETRY_DISABLED=1 or DO_NOT_TRACK=1 variable before the first launch and read the Privacy & telemetry section. Agents exchange messages about tasks, so access is extended.
How to disable. Remove the package with npm uninstall -g @concord-ai/concord-mcp and the server entries from the clients.
