KeyID agent-kit
@keyid/agent-kit
An MCP server that gives an agent a real email address: 27 tools for sending, replying, inbox search and contacts
High risk
We rate an entry high when the tool writes to external systems, handles money, production databases or secrets, or runs arbitrary commands. The CLI installs it only with your consent.
Why this level
- Sends and receives real email on the agent's behalf
- Can set auto-reply and scheduled delivery through an external service
Install
In your terminal, with SkillFoxx CLI
npx skillfoxx add mcp/keyid-agent-kitDetects the agents on your machine, checks the risk and pins the version.
Other ways to install
Assembled automatically, review before installing.
This entry is high risk, so there is no one-click install. Review the code and add the config by hand.

Connect the server to your client as MCP: command npx @keyid/agent-kit with KEYID_PUBLIC_KEY and KEYID_PRIVATE_KEY. Keep sending mail behind confirmation.
Other ways from the author
npm install @keyid/agent-kitRun via npx @keyid/agent-kit with KEYID_PUBLIC_KEY and KEYID_PRIVATE_KEY, then connect as MCP.
This is third-party code. Review the repository files before installing.
What it does
agent-kit is an MCP server that gives an AI agent a real email address and 27 tools for handling mail: send, receive, reply, inbox search, contact management, auto-reply and scheduled delivery. It runs on the KeyID.ai infrastructure, positioned as free email for agents with no human registration and no API keys to manage. The server runs via npx and connects to Claude, Cursor or any MCP client, authenticating with a key pair.
Who it is for. For people building agents that need their own mailbox to send and handle email.
Good fit when
- The agent needs its own email address to send and receive mail
- You need inbox search and contact tools
- You need auto-reply or scheduled delivery from the agent
Not a fit when
- You need to integrate your own corporate mailbox rather than a KeyID address
- You cannot let an agent send email without manual confirmation
Example request
Check the inbox, find the message from the contractor and prepare a draft replyLimitations
Mail runs on the KeyID.ai infrastructure, and the address and message data pass through that service. It needs a KEYID_PUBLIC_KEY and KEYID_PRIVATE_KEY pair. The agent gains the ability to send mail and set auto-reply, so such actions should be kept under control. The repository is small and updated infrequently.
How to disable. Remove the MCP entry from the client config and uninstall the @keyid/agent-kit package; clear the keys from the environment.

| Environment variables | |
|---|---|
| KEYID_PUBLIC_KEY required | Public key of the agent's KeyID.ai account. |

Security check
- Sends and receives real email on the agent's behalf
- Can set auto-reply and scheduled delivery through an external service
README in short
The README presents @keyid/agent-kit as a way to give Claude, Cursor or any MCP client a real email address. The server provides 27 MCP tools: send, receive, reply, inbox search, contacts, auto-reply and scheduled delivery. Mail runs on KeyID.ai infrastructure, free and with no human registration or API keys to manage. Install is via npm or running through npx, and the mcpServers config sets the npx @keyid/agent-kit command with the KEYID_PUBLIC_KEY and KEYID_PRIVATE_KEY keys.
FAQ
Is registration or payment needed?
Per the README no: KeyID.ai is positioned as free email for agents with no human registration, only a key pair.
Can the agent send mail itself?
Yes, the 27 tools include send, reply, auto-reply and scheduled delivery, so such actions should be controlled.
