What it does
A Node.js server wraps four Wordstat API v2 methods: wordstat_get_top returns the top queries for a phrase over 30 days, wordstat_get_dynamics builds a frequency timeline by month, wordstat_get_regions_distribution shows the regional breakdown, and wordstat_get_region_tree returns the region reference with IDs. Auth is via a Yandex Cloud API key or IAM token, and the build is a plain npm run build with no extra tooling.
Who it is for. For anyone who wants a minimal, no-frills Wordstat MCP server and is fine building it from source.

The package is not published to npm; you build from source with npm install && npm run build. There is no LICENSE file in the repository. You need YANDEX_FOLDER_ID and either YANDEX_IAM_TOKEN or YANDEX_API_TOKEN; Search API calls are billed. No tests or CI.
How to disable. Remove the yandex-wordstat entry from claude_desktop_config.json, or run claude mcp remove yandex-wordstat.
