Bitrix24 MCP Server on an OAuth app

Bitrix24 MCP Server

A Bitrix24 MCP server on a local OAuth app: CRM, tasks, scrum epics, Knowledge Base 2.0 and company structure

MCP server

High risk

We rate an entry high when the tool writes to external systems, handles money, production databases or secrets, or runs arbitrary commands. The CLI installs it only with your consent.

Why this level

  • Creates, updates and closes tasks, and creates and edits knowledge base pages
  • The OAuth app gets portal rights according to the scopes granted at creation

Install

In your terminal, with SkillFoxx CLI

npx skillfoxx add mcp/ostor-bitrix24-mcp-server

Detects the agents on your machine, checks the risk and pins the version.

Other ways to install

This entry is high risk, so there is no one-click install. Review the code and add the config by hand.

Run in a terminal

claude mcp add --transport stdio bitrix24 -- npx -y @modelcontextprotocol/inspector http://your-server-address:3000/sse

Or add to the file .mcp.json, in the project

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "bitrix24": {
      "command": "npx",
      "args": [
        "-y",
        "@modelcontextprotocol/inspector",
        "http://your-server-address:3000/sse"
      ]
    }
  }
}

If the file already exists, add the server inside the mcpServers key.

Add to the file ~/.cursor/mcp.json, for all projects

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "bitrix24": {
      "command": "npx",
      "args": [
        "-y",
        "@modelcontextprotocol/inspector",
        "http://your-server-address:3000/sse"
      ]
    }
  }
}

If the file already exists, add the server inside the mcpServers key. For a single project, put the same block into .cursor/mcp.json.

Run in a terminal

code --add-mcp '{"name":"bitrix24","type":"stdio","command":"npx","args":["-y","@modelcontextprotocol/inspector","http://your-server-address:3000/sse"]}'

Or add to the file .vscode/mcp.json, in the project

{
  "servers": {
    "bitrix24": {
      "type": "stdio",
      "command": "npx",
      "args": [
        "-y",
        "@modelcontextprotocol/inspector",
        "http://your-server-address:3000/sse"
      ]
    }
  }
}

If the file already exists, add the server inside the servers key.

Run in a terminal

codex mcp add bitrix24 -- npx -y @modelcontextprotocol/inspector http://your-server-address:3000/sse

Or add to the file ~/.codex/config.toml, for all projects

[mcp_servers.bitrix24]
command = "npx"
args = ["-y", "@modelcontextprotocol/inspector", "http://your-server-address:3000/sse"]

If the file already exists, append the block to the end.

Add to the file ~/.gemini/settings.json, for all projects

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "bitrix24": {
      "command": "npx",
      "args": [
        "-y",
        "@modelcontextprotocol/inspector",
        "http://your-server-address:3000/sse"
      ]
    }
  }
}

If the file already exists, add the server inside the mcpServers key.

Add to the file ~/.config/devin/mcp_config.json, for all projects

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "bitrix24": {
      "command": "npx",
      "args": [
        "-y",
        "@modelcontextprotocol/inspector",
        "http://your-server-address:3000/sse"
      ]
    }
  }
}

If the file already exists, add the server inside the mcpServers key. Legacy Cascade keeps the MCP config in ~/.codeium/windsurf/mcp_config.json.

Formerly Windsurf.

Add to the file cline_mcp_settings.json, for all projects

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "bitrix24": {
      "command": "npx",
      "args": [
        "-y",
        "@modelcontextprotocol/inspector",
        "http://your-server-address:3000/sse"
      ]
    }
  }
}

If the file already exists, add the server inside the mcpServers key. Open the settings file in Cline: MCP Servers tab, Configure MCP Servers.

Add to the file .roo/mcp.json, in the project

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "bitrix24": {
      "command": "npx",
      "args": [
        "-y",
        "@modelcontextprotocol/inspector",
        "http://your-server-address:3000/sse"
      ]
    }
  }
}

If the file already exists, add the server inside the mcpServers key.

A fork of Roo Code, same .roo folders.

Add to the file opencode.json, in the project

        "@modelcontextprotocol/inspector",
        "http://your-server-address:3000/sse"
      ]
    }
  }
}

If the file already exists, add the server inside the mcp key.

Add to the file ~/.config/zed/settings.json, for all projects

{

        "@modelcontextprotocol/inspector",
        "http://your-server-address:3000/sse"
      ]
    }
  }
}

If the file already exists, add the server inside the context_servers key.

Add to the file .codeassistant/mcp.json, in the project

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "bitrix24": {

  }
}

If the file already exists, add the server inside the mcpServers key.

You will need: Node.js

Text for your agent

Create a local Bitrix24 app with crm, task, tasks_extended, note and user scopes, clone Ostor/bitrix24-mcp-server, fill in .env with the client id, secret and portal address, run npm run build && npm start, and connect http://address:3000/sse in Claude Desktop.

Other ways from the author
git clone https://github.com/Ostor/bitrix24-mcp-server.git && cd bitrix24-mcp-server && npm install && npm run build && npm start

Before running, fill in .env with BITRIX24_CLIENT_ID, BITRIX24_CLIENT_SECRET and BITRIX24_PORTAL_URL.

This is third-party code. Review the repository files before installing.

What it does

The server runs on HTTP SSE transport and connects to the portal not through an inbound webhook but a full local OAuth app with a client id and secret. It gives an agent CRM deal and contact reads, task reading, listing, creation, updates, closing and comments, viewing scrum epics and binding tasks to them, Knowledge Base 2.0 work (reading knowledge bases, their structure and pages in Markdown, creating and editing pages), and company data: the current user plus searching and listing teammates. It deploys via Node.js or Docker Compose and listens on port 3000 for SSE connections.

Who it is for. For teams who need Knowledge Base 2.0 work alongside CRM and tasks through an agent.

Good fit when

  • You need not just CRM but Knowledge Base 2.0: reading and editing pages in Markdown
  • You need scrum epics and task-to-epic binding
  • You are ready to set up a full OAuth app rather than just an inbound webhook

Not a fit when

  • You want a simple inbound-webhook setup without an OAuth app
  • You need leads or other CRM entities beyond deals and contacts: there are no tools for them
  • You lack portal admin access to create a local app

Example request

Create a knowledge base page with a new-hire checklist and bind the access-setup task to the current epic

Limitations

CRM covers only reading deals and contacts, with no create and no leads. Remote access from Claude Desktop needs port forwarding or an nginx reverse proxy, which the README calls out as a separate step. Requires portal admin rights to create the local app.

How to disable. Stop the server process (pm2 stop or docker-compose down) and delete the local app in the portal's Developer Resources section.

Security check

README in short

The bilingual README (English and Russian versions) describes creating a local Bitrix24 app with the required scopes, configuring .env with the client id, secret and portal address, running via Node.js with pm2 or Docker Compose, and connecting to Claude Desktop over SSE, including port forwarding for a remote server. It lists the tools for CRM, tasks, scrum, the knowledge base and company structure. MIT license.

FAQ

Do I need an inbound webhook?

No, the server uses a local OAuth app with a client id and client secret instead of a webhook.

Can it edit Knowledge Base 2.0?

Yes, its tools can read the structure and create or edit pages in Markdown.
