What it does
Search Console MCP puts data from four sources behind one tool set: Google Search Console, Bing Webmaster Tools, Google Analytics 4 and AdSense. Instead of exporting tables you ask the agent: when a traffic drop began and which pages caused it, which queries sit at positions 8–15 with a thousand impressions, whether two pages compete for one query. The server does the math itself, and ready signals reach the model's context with no raw rows. The seo_audit tool finds quick wins, cannibalization and lost queries, and splits queries into brand and non-brand. site_health_check gives a site summary, and analytics_anomalies finds statistical spikes and dips. compare_engines sets Google against Bing, and pagespeed_analyze checks Core Web Vitals. For submitting pages to indexing there is indexing_submit with IndexNow support. Many accounts can be attached to one server, and it works out which one owns the requested site.
Who it is for. For SEO specialists and site owners working in Claude Code, Cursor or Claude Desktop who want to analyze traffic by asking an agent.
Good fit when

- You need competitor rank tracking by keyword: the server shows data of your own properties
- The agent must not get access to AdSense ad and revenue stats

Environment variables

Limitations
Node.js is required. Google authorization goes through the browser with `npx search-console-mcp setup`, and for servers without a browser there is a token export and import. Bing needs an API key, GA4 a service account or OAuth, and AdSense works only through OAuth. The server is read-only by default: submitting and deleting sitemaps and managing properties require a separately granted write scope.
The genai_query_insights tool relies on a heuristic over query wording, since Google and Bing have no official API for such data. Whether Google and Bing services are reachable from Russia is unknown.
How to disable. Remove the search-console entry from the client config and restart it. Saved tokens sit in the system keychain (or an encrypted file): remove accounts with `npx search-console-mcp accounts remove --account=<email>`.

How do I connect Search Console MCP to Claude Code?
Run npx search-console-mcp setup to grant access in the browser and add an MCP config entry with the command npx and the argument search-console-mcp. For Claude Desktop there is also a ready .mcpb bundle that installs in one step.
Can I get Google and Bing data in one request?
Yes. A request with the engine parameter set to all fetches Google, Bing and GA4 in parallel.
Can I call the tools without an agent?
Yes, from the shell with `npx search-console-mcp run <tool>`. The output comes as JSON, CSV or a table.
Can I connect several Google accounts?
Yes. The accounts list, accounts add-site and accounts remove commands manage the profiles, and the server picks the account that owns the requested site.
How is Search Console MCP different from Google Search Console MCP Server for SEOs?
That server works only with Google Search Console. Search Console MCP adds Bing, GA4 and AdSense, merges data from several accounts and computes ready SEO audits on the server side.
