What it does
The `seo` package gives an SEO command and an MCP server: a page audit (`seo audit-page --url ...`), Search Console data, analytics and keywords. Installation: `npm i -g seo`. A Google sign-in is needed and credentials are saved in the system password store. TERMS.md and PRIVACY.md sit alongside. Apache-2.0 license, a personal project by Ian Nuttall with no organization and no GitHub releases.
Who it is for. For SEO specialists and site owners who want to review pages and Search Console data from a terminal and an agent.
Good fit when
- You need a page audit from the command line
- You need Search Console and analytics data in an agent
- You need keywords from a terminal
Not a fit when
- You cannot connect an agent to a Google account with site data
- You need an organization product with support: this is a personal project
Example request
Audit a page of my site and show Search Console queries with impressions and no clicksLimitations
A Google account sign-in is needed and the agent gets access to Search Console and analytics data, so access is extended. Grant minimal rights and read TERMS.md and PRIVACY.md in the repository. This is a personal project with no organization and no releases.
How to disable. Remove the package with npm uninstall -g seo and revoke the app access in the Google account settings.
