What it does
The Python server connects to the T-Invest API with a token and gives an agent 16 tools. Read tools cover OHLCV candles from 1 minute to 1 day, last price, order book, contract specs (margin, tick size, expiry), the MOEX trading phase, portfolio, active orders, free margin and operation history. Write tools place market and limit orders, stop-loss, take-profit, cancel an order or close a position. A separate tool sizes a position from entry, stop and a percent of the deposit at risk. It works only with MOEX futures, with tickers such as NGZ6 or SiZ6.
Who it is for. Traders of MOEX futures with a T-Invest account who want to go through candles, order book and portfolio in a conversation with an agent.
Good fit when
- You want candles and the order book for a futures ticker analysed right in a Claude chat
- You need a quick position size from entry, stop and risk percent
- You want to try the server in the T-Invest sandbox first with a sandbox token
- You want MOEX futures data inside a conversation without manual exports from a terminal
Not a fit when
- You need stocks, bonds or funds: the server handles MOEX futures only
- You will not let an agent place orders on a real account: trading tools are on by default
- You need investment advice: the author gives none and takes no responsibility for losses

Environment variables
TINKOFF_TOKENrequired, secret- T-Invest API token, preferably read-only
TINKOFF_ACCOUNT_ID- Brokerage account number
TINVEST_ALLOW_TRADING- 0 disables the trading tools
TINVEST_SANDBOX- 1 switches to the T-Invest sandbox
Limitations
Trading tools are on by default, so a connected agent can place and cancel orders on a real account. Write access is switched off with TINVEST_ALLOW_TRADING=0, and the server can be tried without money in the sandbox with TINVEST_SANDBOX=1. Only futures tickers work. The repository is small: one author, 12 stars, no tests or CI. The last commit is from October 2026. The package is not published on PyPI and has to be installed from GitHub, so versions follow commits. The English section of the README is short, and tool parameter details exist only in the Russian table.
How to disable. Set TINVEST_ALLOW_TRADING=0 or remove the server with claude mcp remove tinvest, then revoke the token in the T-Invest API settings.
FAQ
Which token does the server need?
A T-Invest API token from the T-Bank settings page, in the TINKOFF_TOKEN variable. For work without orders, issue a read-only token; the account number in TINKOFF_ACCOUNT_ID is optional.
Can the agent be stopped from placing orders?
Yes, TINVEST_ALLOW_TRADING=0 leaves read-only access. Without it, the trading tools are enabled.
Is there a sandbox for testing?
Yes, with TINVEST_SANDBOX=1 the server talks to the T-Invest sandbox and expects a sandbox token.
Which tools can write?
Market and limit orders, stop-loss, take-profit, cancelling an order and closing a position.
Which instruments does the server cover?
Only MOEX futures, with the ticker given as a contract code such as NGZ6, SiZ6 or BRZ6.
