What it does
Gives an agent two tools: search_locations turns a place name into an airport or city market code, and search_flights finds the cheapest round trips within a date window and trip length. Each fare comes with a booking link and a price level against the route's usual range. Omit the destination to get the cheapest places to fly from your origin.

Limitations
Bookable fares are economy only. Prices are cached indicators with freshness in metadata.freshness, so confirm the final price on the booking page. Some links are affiliate links. The service is closed source; the repo holds docs only. The price level does not predict where fares are heading.
How to disable. Run claude mcp remove whentofly or remove the server from connector settings or mcp.json.

Is an API key required?
No, it works without a key or signup.
Do affiliate payouts affect ranking?
According to the README, no: results are sorted by price, and each result reports whether its link is an affiliate link.
