MCP module for 1C-Bitrix Site Manager

wise108.bsm

A module for 1C-Bitrix Site Manager that runs an MCP right on the CMS server for working with infoblock content from Cursor and Claude Desktop

MCP server

Medium risk

We rate an entry medium when the tool runs code, makes network calls or reads project files. Check what exactly it does before installing.

Why this level

  • It creates and changes infoblock elements and files on the site
  • Tokens grant access by scope but are stored in the client config
  • It runs on the site's own server, not in a sandbox

Install

In your terminal, with SkillFoxx CLI

npx skillfoxx add mcp/wise108-bsm

Detects the agents on your machine, checks the risk and pins the version.

Other ways to install

Run in a terminal

claude mcp add --transport stdio --env 'AUTHORIZATION=<your AUTHORIZATION>' wise108-bsm -- npx -y mcp-remote https://websun.studio/local/tools/wise108_bsm_mcp.php --header 'Authorization: Bearer <your AUTHORIZATION>'

Or add to the file .mcp.json, in the project

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "wise108-bsm": {
      "command": "npx",
      "args": [
        "-y",
        "mcp-remote",
        "https://websun.studio/local/tools/wise108_bsm_mcp.php",
        "--header",
        "Authorization: Bearer <your AUTHORIZATION>"
      ],
      "env": {
        "AUTHORIZATION": "<your AUTHORIZATION>"
      }
    }
  }
}

If the file already exists, add the server inside the mcpServers key.

Keys and settings

AUTHORIZATIONsecret, required

Replace the values in angle brackets with your own. Keys never go into install links and are not stored by us.

Install in Cursor

The button opens the agent and offers to add the server. If nothing happens, copy the config below.

Text for your agent

Copy the wise108.bsm module from wise108/bitrix-bus-mcp into local/modules on the BUS server, install it via Marketplace, pick an infoblock whitelist and create an API token, then connect Cursor or Claude Desktop to https://<site>/local/tools/wise108_bsm_mcp.php via mcp-remote with an Authorization Bearer header.

Example from the module README; replace the URL and token with your own.

This is third-party code. Review the repository files before installing.

What it does

The wise108.bsm module installs into local/modules on a server running 1C-Bitrix Site Manager and opens an HTTP MCP transport through an entry-point file. Tools cover infoblocks and their properties, sections, elements (list, search, get, create, update), files, cache clearing and HTML validation. Access is limited by a whitelist of infoblocks and snippet templates chosen in the admin panel, Bearer tokens are issued with scopes and written to an audit log, and creating an element with an already-used external_id performs an upsert instead of a duplicate.

Who it is for. For developers and administrators of 1C-Bitrix Site Manager sites who need governed AI agent access to infoblock content.

Good fit when

  • The site runs on 1C-Bitrix Site Manager, not Bitrix24
  • You need governed agent access limited to chosen infoblocks
  • An audit log and scoped tokens matter to you

Not a fit when

  • You need Bitrix24 CRM: this module is for a different product in the line
  • You cannot install a module on the BUS server

Example request

Create an element in infoblock 41 titled 'New element' with an HTML description

Limitations

It works only with 1C-Bitrix Site Manager, not the cloud Bitrix24. The module must be installed on the server via Marketplace or manually, and access is closed by default until a whitelist is chosen. The token must be manually updated in the local client config after rotation.

How to disable. Remove or deactivate the wise108.bsm module under Marketplace, Installed solutions, and delete the server from your MCP client config.

Security check

  • It creates and changes infoblock elements and files on the site
  • Tokens grant access by scope but are stored in the client config
  • It runs on the site's own server, not in a sandbox

README in short

The module README lists capabilities: HTTP MCP transport, scoped Bearer tokens with an audit log, an infoblock whitelist, and tools for infoblocks, properties, sections, elements, files, cache clearing and HTML validation. It shows Marketplace install steps, picking a whitelist and creating a token, a Cursor config example via mcp-remote, and an upsert element-creation example with external_id.

FAQ

Can the agent get access to all infoblocks at once?

No, access is closed by default; you must explicitly pick infoblocks and snippet templates in the module settings.

What happens if I create an element with the same external_id again?

The module updates the existing element instead of creating a duplicate and returns created: false.
