What it does
The plugin lets Claude Code place a real phone call and hold a voice conversation. It bundles a local MCP server on Bun that connects a phone provider, Telnyx or Twilio, OpenAI for speech-to-text (and text-to-speech unless the local Kokoro engine is chosen) and an ngrok tunnel for webhooks. Tools cover starting a call, continuing the conversation, speaking without waiting for a reply, and ending the call. A Stop hook can decide whether to call you when the agent is about to finish; trivial tasks trigger no call. Calls and transcription are billed per minute, and the phone number is rented monthly.
Who it is for. For developers who run long tasks in Claude Code and want a phone call instead of watching the terminal.
Good fit when
- You want a call when the agent finishes a significant task or hits a question
- You want to talk a decision through by voice rather than typing in chat

- A terminal notification or a simple yes or no is enough
- You have no phone provider, OpenAI and ngrok accounts, or do not want to pay per minute

Calls and speech are billed per minute and the number is paid monthly; exact amounts depend on the provider. Text-to-speech can move to a local Kokoro instance in Docker, but speech-to-text still runs through OpenAI. The server opens a local port and an ngrok tunnel to the internet.
How to disable. Remove the plugin via /plugin, then restart Claude Code. You can remove the keys from the environment variables in ~/.claude/settings.json.
